You do not trade Herbert sir
you cant trade him anyway

His dead cap would destroy the team for years. They would lose half the cap immediately and be in cap hell for 3-4 years. Basically they would need to rework, trade, cut most of the team to make it work. Mack, Bosa, Keenan, Derwin....gotta go. It would be Sheduer surrounded by a bunch of practice squad guys.

0-17 season coming up

Above the fray.
not only that, but let's say he was able to bring in 3 or 4 five star freshman o-lineman. that doesn't mean they're gonna be ready to play next year (and even if they were, good luck on that cause they're about to have one helluva learning curve), or that they're even gonna live up to their high school ranking. when you see the best offensive lines one thing usually stands out - they've been playing together for awhile. that's why you hear commentators talking about how many "starts as a unit" they've had, and it's never one year, it's spread out over 2 and 3 years.
Yeah, the lines develop as a unit. And practicing against the other unit. Pushing each other.

I think that's the word that's missing from many of the views expressed about this season. Development. Players learn and develop during their college careers. Actually, coaching staffs do also. Colorado Football team is still developing. The early wins brought them a lot of media and fan attention, but people unfairly expected a Michigan Fab 5 run or something.

Team got a lot of experience this year, were competitive in all but 1 game. Will learn from mistakes and groom the newcomers that they practice against or compete for playing time against. Coaches too. Work in progress

Yep, the worst thing he could’ve done was run off his linemen. I get the speech but he should have dialed that initial speech back some and figured out a talking path to keep his linemen (at the very least). I wouldn’t care if the other spots dipped but at least figure out how to keep them linemen.
Tyler Brown will be allowed to play next year which should help sure up their interior and i’m sure they’ll get in the portal like Oregon did this year as well
plenty of dudes on this site who played ball in college.

i mean, it's hurts your heart that bad to see your precious coach prime get criticized? every other coach and program gets criticism and i don't see nikkas weeping about it then. and i don't see this level of fanaticism for any of the other Black coaches out there either.

and as far as criticism goes, we ain't even been all that critical. it's common sense that you don't just come in and tell your whole team, on camera, to go ahead and transfer without even evaluating those players. and alot of the coaching mistakes he's made are common sense too, like clock management. i mean jesus christ, the dikkriding is pathetic than a muthfukka.
all of those players had game and or practice tape …it would be rather silly to presume that they weren’t evaluated by the player personnel team at the very least prior to making the decision to even accept the job let alone to get rid of guys … it also runs contrary to what Deion said about the process as well as the AD in the quote below:

Back in May, Colorado's athletic director Rick George told ESPN:
"When [Sanders] first came in, he said, 'there's a lot of people here who may not be here,' because he evaluated and looked at the talent on our team, he's just publicly stated it, where a lot of people don't. ... Coach is doing what he thinks is best for this program."
these are the types of nonsensical and illogical ramblings presented as “honest critiques” that shouldn’t be taken serious and then you wonder why you get called silly.

only thing Deion needs to be worried about regarding Texas A&M is poaching nikkas from the team, NIck Williams was just there, he gotta be able to grab some of those dudes
Doesn’t make sense to leave this year when Travis/Shedeur/Shilo couldn’t go with him without sitting …and that’s no going to happen … picking players off from teams going through coaching changes is the priority …like the kid Marsh from Michigan State …pretty sure he’s flipping in December..CU is the last visit he has which is just a few days before the signing period opens.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
1. Coach Prime wouldn’t leave Colorado without at least winning the conference
2. He’s not going to leave his kids there, especially his daughter after they left came to that school
3. He’s not leaving that early regardless

As for Winston Watkins, the kid committed for clout. He was a sophomore in high school. Kids normally don’t recruit that early. He’s a junior now. So he’s just a kid that doesn’t know what he wants at this point. He actually left IMG to play for another school. Not to mention he’s another short lightweight skill position player. Easily findable.

Above the fray.
They lost but I thought they played a good game vs the Wildcats. Arizona has been one of the best teams in CFB the past few weeks and they played em tough. I thought they were gonna get blown out.
Yeah, they went into the game at 4-5 against the 19th ranked team in the country. They definitely played them tough.
