Did closing down 53 schools work in 2012-2013?
Most importantly this Chicago, "the whole we gone build some shyt & let people comeback shyt"I seen this before, they'll build that school and take their precious time...

I went to Fenger btw, 2011 - 2012, It was actually pack before 2013...Before they built all these Alternative, Excel, Magic Johnson type schools,
Which is the reason me and gang of other kids got pushed out of Fenger because we were 1 grade behind or lacking credits....
When I returned back from Summer break in 2012, CPS was on strike
School didn't start until October, they told me to got to Excel or Magic Johnson on 109thA nikka ain't graduate til 2015, because of these nikkas..

The whole system is fuk'd.

I never said I supported the school closings

I’m just saying what sense do it make to keep operating schools that’s running at 1/4 capacity and which will continue to decline

Question. when i go on other forums like citydata or reddit, Chicago is a tier 1 city up there with New York and Los Angeles. but most of the people I know here in Minneapolis came from Chicago. Is it a love hate relationship? Seems like white people love it but blacks either move away or are trying to get out. You don't really see blacks moving TO Chicago.

Its been said before , but most people from chicago arent moving to places like iowa Wisconsin and minnesota because they are doing well...it's the extreme opppsite, typically....public assistance reasons...

Not to say that people from chicago dont spread there wings elsewhere as well, but when black chicago people come up, they tend move to better neighborhoods in or beyond the city. If those people you came across had the means to do tge same , most of them would have easily....and some of them nikkas got RAN out the city too lmao

Yep....If your paper is decent, Chicago can be your personal Utopia. So many options, things to do, people to see, foods to eat...without getting caught up in the street nonsense.

It's really not that hard to stay out of trouble, especially if you have a general familiarity with certain areas.

supposedly it was some mess from a club earlier in the night and folks followed them there.
I haven't been since last year when they remodeled and reopened more like a down south ATL style club.
It used to be fun and chill with cheap drinks, now it looks more bottle/vip oriented so I haven't been.

I didn't even notice the remodel until I was sitting at the light on the corner and saw it. I drive past that shyt regularly and haven't even paid attention to it. Haven't been in there for maybe 8 years.

Skybox used to be the move when you could go and get into Cowboys for free afterwards. Cheap drinks and strippers all night til like 5AM. Then Cowboys closed. Then Skybox fell off. I miss when Cowboys was open

My Bachelor party was at Cowboys !! LMAO I haven't thought about that place in a decade.

But yeah in my 20's I've def walked out of the spot to see the sun rising on the ride home once or twice.

Was in "city hall" and saw guy parking a old rusty suv...dude walks in looking bummy as fuk...openly carrying and had a badge that looked like one of those fake ones you buy for a halloween costume...starts flirting with some of the workers and basically shooting the shyt in the office.

come to find out he was a friend that was "deputized". makes traffic stops and everything. if i was a driver and he tried to pull me over i'd automatically assume he was trying to rob/car jack someone...
