Well I'm right on the border anyway but it's still Blue Lives matter central. I was at the BK on 110th and kedzie saturday and saw a young breh walking towards 111th and holding hands with his snow bunny as the sun was going down. This was st patricks day too, I wanted to tell him hurry up and get to that bus stop before somebody coming out a bar decides and act stupid.
I grew up between CC Hills and Mt Greenwood(109/Springfield)
Once I told em my dad was a union guy I ain’t have no problems
My mom was a clerk for the city and she ain’t wanna live in Roseland in my grandma 2 flat,so we rented over there for a few years
East Beverly is semi hood, that's where all the black ppl in Beverly live. So east of Longwood.

My mom's worked for CPS her whole life till she retired. She started so long ago they didn't have residency rules. We were living in maywood and then oak Park afterwards. She never lived in the city as an adult.

How its exaggerated this like the 5th strip club shot up in like 3yrs red diamonds Adriannas the boxxx s2 ultra lounge what sitting in the car gotta do with clubs getting shot up when clubs are meant to make money and place of enjoyment. Most cases, you literally have to be looking for trouble to get caught up or put yourself in a potentially bad position (hanging out in rough areas, sitting in cars late at night...)

I was reading the sun times yesterday and was shocked to see that someone got killed on three next block over from me a few weeks ago. My neighborhood is very quiet, so I was shocked. I gotta fly back to the chi this weekend. I'm definitely checking a gun before I get on the plane.
Then my alarm went off last week and I was shook cuz I'm so far away. Called my retired cop neighbor and everything was cool
. Said the inside door just cracked open. My wife cousin brought in some packages from the porch and didn't pull the inside door all the way up and put on the deadbolt
