crazy winds today. a lot of folks in my neighborhood with privacy fences I'm seeing them knocked down. I have chain link, so it's not an issue for me. alleys look like an obstacle course with all the empty garbage cans all thrown around.

There's closer suburbs if you dont want to live in the city.....maybe Evanston or Skokie

I went to high school with dude in the screencap and he was my neighbor (Oblock (King Drive)), used to be on the 63rd street bus with this nikka, and some of the EBT nikkas coming from Hyde Park

the news is damn near creaming in their collective pants over actual measureable snowfall. that shyt is the fluffy stuff and EASILY cleared out. I don't think it's move than 6" which ain't that bad. I had my front and back cleared in less than 15 minutes.

I work at home, I don't have to go nowhere except the 6 blocks to get my kid from school. the other takes the bus.

if I had to go to work in an office, I'd simply walk two blocks to the red line and have no issue getting downtown.

yup, CPS is open and private school is open for my other kid. I don't think CPS ever closes unless they are striking.

Nah I'm the director of a nonprofit. Gonna quit. Would like have something lined up but don't need to. Remote options are a bonus.
