In the university area, behind the hilton and mcdonalds (the one off the intersection of harris and tryon) there is a cute lake surrounded by a track and shops/bars/nice restaurants. Nice place to take a date or hang out with your friends at one of the sports bars. Boardwalk billys is one of the sports bars and is decent though not that diverse. Wine VAult is beside it and is a nice place for a date and/or business dinner/lunch. Its really chill. You can feed the ducks/get drunk/shop all at the same damn time :damn:

The walmart, a quarter of the mile up from the lake and off of tryon, is hood as hell and always crowded. :russ: It used to be of harris and had me like :why: when i tried to go in for supplies. I stayed by Northlake so I usually just went to Target and/or the walmart off 485 in mt holly.

If you want to go to concord mills take 29/tryon all the way to concord. Its pretty fast and actually pretty empty except during races. People love to jump on 85 in the university area and end up getting stuck behind a wreck :russ:

I was really digging Charlotte's residential neighborhoods. I was staying at my friend's place over on The Plaza :wow: Got to eat some BBQ from Midwood Smokehouse, and drive around the different neighborhoods like Dilworth.

I'm going back for CIAA again, will try to spend more time there tho.

Yea, i keep it strictly professional tho. Separate work and pleasure

I smoke cigs too, but always after work, don't wanna smell like smoke in the slightest

I even lie to the kids about my favorite music, its rap, but i tell em jazz

Had no idea Charlotte was this deep in here, what's poppin in the city for the 4th, I'm planning on takin my chick on a lil get away for that week

It's that deep in here because the Charlotteans have nothing else better to do but go online :snoop:

You actually got dudes on here bragging about having a pond behind a Wal-Mart to feed ducks at :mindblown:

@OP move as soon as you can, breh :to:

I'm at work right now so I can't go deep into Charlotte, but it depends on what type of person you are. I will say, no matter what, check out NoDa - in particular Red @ 28th and Amelies because the place is crazy diverse. You have your yuppies, hipsters, stuck-in-the 90's niccas, out-of-towners, cool kids, fashionistas, Nerds and just your regular niccas all in the same place on the weekend all chillin' and getting along Amelies is open 24/7. Then you can go up the street (biggest food landmark is Cabo fish taco) and hit the bars and coffee spots or just enjoy walking around the area. Noda is not big, but easily the most diverse place in Charlotte.

Southend is cool too, I don't have enough time to write another paragraph though...

Not familiar with Red @ 28th, but the other places are really the only spots worth checking out in Charlotte. I second Amelie's. It's no cute little bakery you'd find in SoHo or West Village, but it's one of the few nice places open 24/7 in Charlotte. I used to bring my work there with me all the time and check out hipster chicks :ahh:

I used to go to the Crepe Cellar a lot too, which is also in NoDa.

Oh yeah, just getting here to Charlotte, check out the EpiCenter, on Friday and Saturday nights downtown. Nice area with lots of people hanging out there, especially here in the summertime.
