Thurman is a good guy but it seems like he may have lost his passion for this, lost his hunger

He seems too content with where he’s at now and he is talking about being only the second or third best welterweight isn’t s problem to him
I think since Thurman was the mandatory for Floyd all those years and never got that fight plus he used to call out fighters for along time to only not get those fights he feels that he needs to do that in return so I understand where it’s coming from.

But ya I agree with u, he’s not in a hurry to come back points that he’s not hungry any more. I wouldn’t be surprised if he retired soon.

Bookmarked for next year when the fight happens :sas2:

Better hope your boy does crazy numbers like he did against Bundu, then maybe he could squeeze Spence in for the end of the year :umad:

Be neutral and watch this video and tell me you don’t hear the juelzing. I didn’t even say what I really picked up from the video cause I don’t believe Keith is shook but...something off about him.

I think Keith is a thoughtful dude who enjoys life outside of boxing, maybe too much rn. And Spence...all that man wants to do is fight, and he’s a dawg.

The people don’t doubt Keith he earned his status but the more we hear him speak on Spence it makes me wonder if HE’S confident.

wondering if he openly calls out Porter and Garcia again will he get one of those fights
He says he wants 3 fights a year. I think Garcis fights April. Not sure what Porter's plans are. I hope Keith keeps active because his head doesn't seem in the game right now but I believe he has the tools to pull off a win but also has question marks that Spence could exploit

I think it’s porter, he’s going to fight Thurman left overs.

Garcia fights in February

he should be available for Spence... :yeshrug: Thurman probably gonna have to fight Porter in the summer sometimes so Garcia doesn't have to stand in the line no more but he can just go straight at a belt, just not at Thurman's but Spence's everybody wins...
but I heard rumors that Spence might have to fight an IBF mando first if that's true then he might just go ahead and get that out of way... Carlos Ocampo is the highest ranking guy there now
It would do for a homecoming bout I guess
then on his 3rd fight of the year he could fight someone more serious like Thurman or if that doesn't work out then Porter or Garcia

I'd say Crawford too but I doubt that Crawford vs Spence/Thurman happens until they marinate the shyt out of it and there will be so much money in it that these mfers decide to work together again not before... PBC will make their in house "tournament" first and maybe then they will be down for a Crawford fight

If Arum seriously gives Pacquiao to Lomachenko though and Lomachenko wins if I was Crawford I'd just say fukk you and leave to PBC, it ain't cool if your promoter give the big money fight which would multiple your awareness to a guy who's divisions below you while you are in the same weight class as the big money fighter (Pac).
Another question is how easily could he break off TR if that would happen, I'm not about waiting for Crawford for 2 years to get back to the Ring like Mikey Garcia did.

Marcus Browne: I Need a World Title Shot, I'll Face Any Champ!

Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York - Unbeaten light heavyweight contender Marcus Browne (21-0, 16 KOs) made quick work of Francy Ntetu (17-2, 4 KOs), as he dropped and battered his opponent early to force referee Arthur Mercante to stop the bout at just 2:15 of the first round.

Fighting for his 12th time at the Barclays Center, the 27 year-old Staten Island native kept his unblemished record intact by utilizing his powerful left hand on the overmatched Ntetu.

Browne established his dominance from the start, landing a clean overhand left that dropped Ntetu halfway through the round. The Montreal, Québec native was never able to regain his feet and found himself cornered against the ropes just thirty seconds later. A barrage of powerful combinations landed on the defenseless Ntetu left the referee with little option but to stop the fight with 45 seconds remaining in round number one.

"We worked for this win. He walked into a sure shot and I made him pay," said Browne. "The overhand left caught him and that was the beginning of the end for him. I knew he was hurt.

"I need a world title shot. I'm ready to take on any of the champions. I don't have any preferences. I'm glad I put together another great performance here at Barclays Center. I'm going to keep improving until I really become Mr. Barclays Center."

Ntetu, who moved up to the light heavyweight division for this fight, had a hard time dealing with Browne's combination of speed and power on his way to the second loss of his pro career.

"[Browne] is very explosive, congrats to him," said Ntetu. "He's fast, he's smart and I did not expect him to be that explosive. He got me with his right hook and a straight left.

"I was in enough shape to fight for 10 rounds. This is not my weight class, but I don't want to make excuses."

What y'all think about this guy and his chances in the stacked 175?

I liked how he looked on his last few fights but not sure where to put him

one question though, if he is ready for any champion then why he didn't take the eliminator vs Gvozdyk for the WBC mandatory spot?

Talking about any champions... Kovalev has a fight signes up, Bivol too, Stevenson vs Jack probably comes so that leaves Beterbiev who has no dance partner now. Let's see Beterbiev vs Browne
