OLEKSANDR GVOZDYK

That would be a great match at this point. LHD appears to be one of the most explosive divisions
it would be great but Browne apparently pulled off already once when WBC ordered him vs Gvozdyk for an eliminator

maybe he isn't confident in himself
or maybe he wants to go for a title without a hard eliminator
or maybe he was told to not go for the WBC which is already on the PBC/Showtime/Haymon side but go for a belt which is elswhere so if he wins they can make in-house unification later

that last one might be an overcomplication though but I can even imagine powerplays like that

Between Porter and Thurman sounding ultra shook. They trying to wait to fight each other again to avoid fighting Errol until middle\late 2019. They hoping somebody pops up to give Spence some problems before they take the fight.

Shawn Porter talking bout: "Its not an option right now becasue its the IBF....Im not even sure Im ranked in the IBF"...Look at this shyt:

I have a feeling Danny will be the dude that steps up to the plate. Unless he starts claiming he's injured after the fight with Rios that'll prolly be the case.

If they pay him Danny will take the fight :manny:

They said he wouldn't fight Matthysse...they paid him he fought Matthysse

They said he wouldn't fight Keith...they paid him he fought Keith

As long as he gets his bag...Swift will fight :Muhfukkingchamp:

Hypothetically, what do you guys think of Spence VS Porter ? How do Porter's physicality and bullying style fare against Spence ?

Porter would get bullied by technical pressure. Granados showed that you can back up Porter by committing to a hard one two. Everyone else usually gives up ground trying to box/fight Porter. Spence ain't giving up shyt. Porter will try to do all that rough werewolf swarming shyt and Spence will step to him with hard jabs and lefts. Then he'll rip the body when Shawn tries to grapple and wrestle inside. Spence will eventually wear him down, but Porter will not go down quietly. Good action fight where a stoppage might happen.

The only way I see Porter beating Spence is if he just sells out to the body for 6 hard rds before taking his attack upstairs. Spence is there to be hit with head shots early, but Shawn ain't the most accurate straight puncher. May as well have him try to get Spence tired with body shots first, so the eventual head shots are easier to make.

what I need is sparring sessions of Spence/Charlos :damn: they're all hitting their prime right now and helping each other something crazy.
I will also need any of Spence's gym wars including that sparring session with floyd. That dude out here PLAYING bodyshots games on social media no way anyone with his pace doesn't have crazy sparring sessions

Shannon Briggs: After I Beat Fury, They Must Give Me Title Shot!
Former heavyweight champion Shannon Briggs (60-6-1, 53 KOs), 46 years old, is hoping to become the comeback opponent for Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs).

Briggs has been out of the ring since May of 2016, when he picked up an easy knockout victory over Emilio Ezequiel Zarate.

Closely creeping up on two years of inactivity, Briggs is not planning to retire any time soon.

Briggs is predicting a very big year, with a lot of activity in the next twelve months.

"I’m looking forward to a huge 2018. I think the time off helped me. At 46-years old I’m in the best shape of my career. I’m going to become the oldest fighter to win the heavyweight championship, and the only man to win a title in three different decades," Briggs told Double G. Sports.

"Nothing really has changed besides the competition getting younger. They aren’t as tough as the guys from my era however. I’ve been around forever, and I’m still having fun. I’m just trying to show that being over 40-years old isn’t a death sentence for athletes. Through several points, I’ve suffered with depression, and I was fortunate enough to surround myself with good people to keep the fight going both in and out of the ring. Being positive is the way to go!"

Briggs is looking to fight for a few more years, with Fury being his target at the moment. His team is trying to get that fight done

Fury has been out of the ring since November 2015, when he shocked boxing by winning a twelve round decision over Wladimir Klitschko.

"I believe I have another two to three years left in me. I’m fortunate to have boxing as a means to keep me going. Right now we are talking with Tyson Fury about a fight. It’s a good thing I don’t like him, it’s a better fight when that’s the case. As of now, the fight would be taking place in either Manchester or London.

"After the Fury fight: They are going to have to give me a title fight, simply because I’m one of the most recognizable heavyweights in the world thanks to social media. Once I prove everyone wrong with a win, they are going to have no choice."
