Fury Reacts To Joshua: You Got Saved From a Midget, Bum City!

TYSON FURY appears to have finally got underneath Anthony Joshua’s skin after the unified heavyweight king sent an expletive tweet to Fury this morning.
Joshua has refrained from responding to his heavyweight rival on numerous occasions – despite Fury’s best efforts to provoke him – but appeared to lose his patience with the 29-year-old this morning.
During an unusually ill-tempered Twitter rant, AJ took aim at WBO champion Joseph Parker and WBC king Deontay Wilder, accusing both men of holding up negotiations to fight.
He then rounded on Fury - who has not been seen in the ring since November 2015 – writing: “Get fit you fat f***.”
Responding to the WBA, IBO and IBF unified champ on Instagram this afternoon, Fury said: “It’s a new one because he usually doesn’t swear and tries to not be himself.
“He’s being himself now which is good. I really don’t need to get fit for you, put it that way To be honest with you me ole mate, I don’t need to get fit for somebody like you.
“I could come to you and I could punch all of your face right in for you – even at 25st. I really don’t need to get fit for you, put it that way. I’ve seen what you’re about, you just fought a midget the other day in a hard fight.
“The referee had to stop it in case you got caught or beat. Bum city, like I always said.”
Joshua overcame a resilient Carlos Takam last month during a mandatory defence of his heavyweight titles, stopping the Frenchman in controversial style in the 10th round.
Takam, 36, claimed the referee pulled him out of the fight too early, despite heavy cuts above both of his eyes.
Victory now sets up a mouth-watering 2018 for the 28-year-old, with fights against Parker, Wilder and Fury on the horizon.
Wilder, nicknamed The Bronze Bomber, appears in pole position to face AJ next, with promoter Eddie Hearn confirming negotiations will begin this week for a money-spinning heavyweight unification fight.
