The Traps of Unified Korea
nah I meant how the styles, strengths and weaknesses mash but I got you
Wlad gave Joshua fits by just moving, feinting, wrapping up, and jabbing. Joshua had no strategy to getting inside to him other than sheer aggression, knowing that Wlad was so gunshy he wouldn't exchange with him. I'm not a Wilder believer at all, but he can absolutely move and jab, and unlike Wlad, he won't throw one right hand ever few rounds.

So Wilder holds the stylistic advantage, big time. But it's still a 50/50 fight to me because their power cancels out anything else. But when they fight, Wilder will dominate the action.

TEAM WILDER AND TEAM JOSHUA HAVE "VERY POSITIVE" MEETING; "OPTIMISTIC" FIGHT HAPPENS IN 2018, POSSIBLY VEGAS
By Ben Thompson | November 09, 2017

"I just met with Eddie and with Al and it was a very, very good meeting. I'm optimistic that something will get done and we'll either fight him in the next fight or we'll take an iterim, he will, and we'll fight him after that, but I'm optimistic we'll get it in '18," stated Shelly Finkel, manager of undefeated WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, who revealed details from his meeting with advisor Al Haymon and promoter Eddie Hearn about the possibility of a unification bout with undefeated IBF & WBA heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. According to Finkel, the ball is now Team Joshua's court, as Hearn will next meet with his fighter to discuss the particulars before getting back to Finkel.

"It was a very good meeting. He has to get back to me because he's going to meet with Joshua after the fight with Jacobs. He said he's going to meet him Dubai, he'll go over the whole story, and then he'll come back to us," Finkel explained during a conversation with FightHype.com shortly after the meeting took place. "He has to come back; whether we do an interim first and then the fight or a fight right direct. My gut is it will be an interim and then we'll fight. They will come back. They want the fight. Here's what it looks like you could make if you fight in Vegas, here's what you can make if you fight in London, and then here's what we'll split it."

When asked to clarify if the fight could indeed take place in Las Vegas, Nevada as opposed to Joshua's home court of London, England, where a record-breaking 90,000 fans were in attendance for his epic victory with former champion Wladimir Klitschko, Finkel emphatically replied, "Oh definitely."

That probably means it's only gonna happen summer at earliest, December latest, if they want to build this up as some big Las Vegas fight.
Cause currently they could make more with the fight being in the UK

What pressure fighter did Wilder have trouble with??
Szpilka
he could walk up close on Wilder and was winning rounds I even had him above on the cards iirc, of course he got KOd by that highlight reel KO in the 9th but they were deep in the fight by then.
If Joshua pressures him he won't have 9 rounds to land that perfect shot

Eddie Hearn talking about making Jacobs vs either the winner of Lemieux/Saunders or GGG rematch if Canelo doesn't take it.

I personally wanna see Jacobs vs Charlo...at Barclays:hubie:

It could easily be for that WBC interim

I doubt it happens in the next year...Jacobs goin want a real belt N hope for the winner of GGG Canelo 2 :manny:

Once Jacobs catches another L then hell look to Charlo

Another Gold Medal
Belts > top guys > tune ups

Danny wants in on the p4p list, he wants belts and top guys after this weekend. idk where Charlo is ranked but if he is ranked high and they cant get a belt next it will happen.

Szpilka was quick on his feet bouncing around...tons of head movement...would double jab then throw a winging over hand right ...lots of lunging N awkward punches...

Not many similarities between the way Szpilka N Joshua fight

N most importantly Szpilka ate clean right after clean right for his troubles before getting slumped...one of the few to take them bombs as long as he did

I hear pressure I don't think of what Szpilka was doing:manny:

Charlo is ranked #1 WBC N is supposed to be fighting for the WBC interim dec/jan/Feb

I would think Hearn N Jacobs would want the Lemeuix BJS winner for that real WBO...then Charlo for a fake belt

I hope I'm wrong tho cuz Jacobs Charlo would be :banderas:classic face vs heel matchup
