:childplease:

Yet look who he addressing...

A fat coke head that's 100lbs overweight and hadn't fought since 2015

Instead of the WBC champion that refers to him as Juicing J and been pulling his hoe card for months
He addressed Wilder too before that tweet

Duva: If Kovalev Wants WBA Belt Back, He'll Have to Fight Bivol

By Keith Idec

Even with Andre Ward retired and WBC champion Adonis Stevenson headed in a different direction, Kathy Duva sees a light heavyweight division full of attractive alternatives for Sergey Kovalev.

If Kovalev can win back the WBO light heavyweight title by beating Vyacheslav Shabranskyy on November 25, Kovalev-Dmitry Bivol is a fan-friendly fight Kovalev’s promoter would like to make.

“If he wants to win his [WBA] belt back, he’s going to have to do that,” Duva said during a conference call Tuesday, in reference to a Kovalev-Bivol bout.

Kyrgyzstan’s Bivol (12-0, 10 KOs), the WBA light heavyweight champion, made a sensational HBO debut Saturday by knocking out Australia’s Trent Broadhurst (20-2, 12 KOs) in the first round in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

“You saw Dmitry Bivol the other night certainly announce his arrival very emphatically,” Duva said.

Before considering Kovalev-Bivol, Duva will try to make a bout between Bivol and Sullivan Barrera. Cuba’s Barrera (20-1, 14 KOs) must first defeat the Dominican Republic’s Felix Valera (15-1, 13 KOs) in a 10-round fight on the Kovalev-Shabranskyy undercard. HBO will broadcast the main event between Russia’s Kovalev (30-2-1, 26 KOs) and Ukraine’s Shabranskyy (19-1, 16 KOs), who’ll fight for the WBO 175-pound title Ward gave up when he retired, and the Barrera-Valera fight from The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York.

“We’ve had talks,” Duva said regarding a Bivol-Barrera bout. “It is certainly makeable, but it is by no means a foregone conclusion at this point.”

Barrera turned down a fight against Kovalev on November 25 because he wanted more money than what was offered. Duva’s Main Events promotes Barrera and Kovalev.

“I was ready to fight Sullivan Barrera,” Kovalev said on the conference call. “But he didn’t approve the fight, and we got Vyacheslav Shabranskyy.”

You can really see that HBO wants Bivol to come out as the winner of the Bivol-Barrera-Kovalev trio :russ:

they switched the agenda quick after Kovalev's losses :mjlol: now it's time for another EE wonderkid.

btw Bivol ain't bad but as of right now I would pick Barrera against him and Kovalev too if Kovalev isn't done mentally which is a big "if"

Wilder: Don't Be Surprised if I Demolish Joshua Like I Did Stiverne!

As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, Anthony Joshua has told heavyweight rival Deontay Wilder that he will not negotiate in public as his promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed talks over a much-anticipated fight will take place this week.

WBA, IBO and IBF champion Joshua has been on a collision course with WBC title-holder Wilder throughout their respective rises to the top of the division.

Wilder called out Joshua following his first-round destruction of a hapless Bermane Stiverne on Saturday, but the powerhouse Briton believes his rival has not shown a serious interest in fighting him.

"We [Joshua and Hearn] had a meeting and I said 'are there any offers that have come your way?' because Wilder seems to say that I am ducking him and that he is really interested in fighting me," he said to iFL TV.

"There's not been any offers to say 'we've got this venue free on this day, we've this broadcaster and that broadcaster interested in taking the fight and these are the terms and conditions of the fight' - I haven't had anything. So, it seems to me there's interest but it's not a serious interest. So, what we've decided to do is, Eddie [Hearn] is going to America for the Danny Jacobs fight, and he's contacting the champions that are interested in fighting."

Hearn is planning to get the wheels in motion for a fight with Wilder, but added that a bout with WBO champion Joseph Parker remains a possibility with the New Zealander's representatives claiming earlier on Wednesday that dialogue has begun.

Wilder believes that he might demolish Joshua in the ring - possibly in a similar manner to what he did last weekend to Bermane Stiverne.

"Styles make fights," Wilder said to Sky Sports. "I knew the Wladimir Klitschko-Joshua fight would be a great fight. My style and Joshua's style do not mix. My style is perfectly made for Joshua's style. I am the paper over his rock. I am the scissors over his paper. Don't be surprised if it is a simulation of my performance when I demolished Bermane Stiverne in the first round.

"I am master of my style. I have mastered what I can do in the ring. It's not what you do physically in the ring. What people don't understand is that my mind is very sharp. The style I bring to Joshua, you guys may not have seen before. It will be a great fight while it lasts."

I read that and that's interesting, Idk what he sees honestly
Joshua is a pressure fighter and Wilder had some problems with pressure fighters before only Joshua is much higher level than those

Wilder's style is not easy to categorize, he boxes more from the outside but not a classic out-boxer by any means, he is rather a rangy boxer-puncher who fights long, something like Kovalev but not on that level and more one handed.

that's just my opinion though
what you think?

I think the fight ends in KO either way. Wilder KOs Joshua or vice versa.

I don't think it's a guaranteed victory for either of them:manny:

nah I meant how the styles, strengths and weaknesses mash but I got you

I already told you Res, I don't think all that breaking down will be necessary for this type of fight.

It's gonna come down to simply: Can Joshua take Wilder's punch? Can Wilder take Joshua's punch?

All the breakdown isn't going to be needed. To me? I see 2 guys with suspect chins, but dynamite in their gloves. Only thing we're going to find out is who has the better chin.

It's not going to be a "who can outbox whom?" type of matchup...it's a "who can land first" type of clash. Think Julian Jackson vs Terry Norris.
