This is the exact moment where if at any time, it’s time now to give them both respect. nikkas have been calling Mell “Diet Charlo” and I called him DaOther Charlo cause I think Mall is better, but a year ago irrelevant...they earned whatever reception they get. I had to salute them and I ain’t picking against them ever again.

Talk shyt, get banged out, get clowned, this is the cycle fam, its not brand new. Charlos are getting love now because they are sparking dudes out while not being diplomatic about it, I don't want everyone acting like them but boxing needs characters like the Charlo bros to keep shyt interesting.

The Charlo's are exactly everything that boxing needs at the moment . Exciting nikkas that love the camera.Put them with a real promoter and they could be maneuvered into legit stars
Zero faith in PBC to do that though .
Hopefully Arum and Haymon link up because with that ESPN deal and Top Ranks machine nikkas like Wilder ,Spence,Thurman and the Charlo's would flourish

I wouldn't say that I would never pick against them though, do you think Jermall Charlo would beat anyone in 160 except Andrade? From Jacobs to Canelo to Golovkin? Very good fighter but those 3 are as well
Jermell Charlo might be the best 154 pounder though, him or Lara, I don't like either but I admit

Lubin tried to put cheat codes in FN career mode by jumping from club fighter to undefeated seasoned title holder and that shyt backfired.
Talent is good, but that shyt is like the special effects of boxing. You gonna need more than that to make a good film/boxer. I know Spence didn't really face a threat before Brook, but Brook wasn't as dangerous and had already caught that GGG work. That was at least worth the risk. Meanwhile Diet Charlo hitting his prime and really putting extras on his dragon punches.
I didn't see the Hurd fight yet, but from the lil clips it looked like he was getting smacked around until he got his big man on. I can already tell he's gonna be one of those guys that look beatable but somehow always finds a way to put hands on you and win....much like OG Swift. That's special in itself really.
to be fair..the reason little charlo wasnt taken as seriously was he didn't have the power of big charlo plus when he won his title his power bailed him out when he was getting outboxed like crazy..and now he bodied both his mandatories

being arrogant and such is forgivable for me if a fighter has some plus in their style, some fun, like Eubank Jr. can be arrogant sometimes but dude is chill and has humor, Floyd or Broner too, hell even Fury with his trash talk, the Charlos are just seem to be plain a$$holes w/o anything funny or sympathetic about them. Ppl can talk all that stuff about the chip on their shoulder and etc... I still don't like when fighters act like they do especially after the fights. His brother, Jermall ruined his own victory lap with the fukked up character he showed after the J. Rock fight, the whole arena booed him after the best win of his career. If that wasn't a wake up call then idk...
Like why can't you be normal with your opponents after the fight?
They take everything a personal offense. You don't really see other fighters do that and boxing or not, combat sport or not it's not a good thing imo. It's still a sport and I tend to think it's not good if someone is hyper sensible in pro sports.
this is basically why these dudes always going to feel underappreciated. They are very good but still overrate themselves. Dude KOd fukking Charles Hatley and now a hot but still untested prospect and thinks he is fighter of the year
Nah man they deserve to talk that shyt. Even on here in 2015, I remember a shyt load of people, myself included, was shytting on them for a perceived ducking and lack of comp they've shown. J Rock and Hatley was popping MAD shyt and deserve every bit of the fukk You after the fight they got. When big Charlo fought Trout, he showed em respect and what not after the fight.
