Floyd was a couple years younger when Margarito was around than he was when he fought Maidana
and I also think that Margarito was more of a traditional volume puncher than Maidana who lunged in every second and then roughed you up on the inside etc...

no idea..hatton ive never thought highly of him..ever..i thought he was overrated from the first time i saw him..and especially at welterweight..gatti was gatti ..classifying castillo as just a brawler is a no no..he was more than that...maidana rose to the occasion

I see where you coming from but I disagree a little

Ward is less textbook than Mikey and more fluid on his feets, also Ward fights at every distance while I don't see Mikey doing that. Ward is actually outstanding in in-fighting

Mikey is more like Joe Louis or Alexis Arguello in style imo, good textbook technique all around with strong power, can fight any direction

I was thinking of that. Joe Louis and Arguello are pretty similar not flashy and not the fastest feet but their punching technique is textbook perfect
