Duva particularly is still on the "this fight will sell itself" bullshyt, she just said it again the other day in an interview. It's a proven bullshyt.

I've been tracking the tickets since I copped and there is A LOT of unsold tix still. Plus Vegas is probably most expensive in the Summer time frame + EDC. I don't know if many boxing fans making arrangements this late in the game as prices on everything rise two weeks from fight night.

As for the promotion as a fan I really don't care if two promoters can't get out of each other's way to be successful, why should we care? We ain't getting none of that money lol. Casuals didn't catch the first one and they won't be catching this one either nothing changes.

This gonna be a good matchup between 2 British prospects.
I feel a little like Taylor's side is on a high horse, overlooking Davis because he only has a short amateur career, 18 fights if I know it right.

I'm wondering why Ohara changing his demeanor now. Is he playing chess, too much respect, he let Taylor put hands on him

I think he's trolling them :mjlol:
They expected him to act out and be cocky and when only they did that while Ohara kept his cool they were looking funny in the light. Read the comments under the video, Taylor is the heel now not Davis as they probably thought will happen :russ:
Now they mad at him cause he didn't try to sell the fight like they though he would. :yeshrug:

Idk why BJS vs Khurtsidze and this fight will go up against each other though

as for the Wad vs Kov part, I really don't see any money from their purse but I mean if they would at least try to promote it normally they might get more casuals to sit down and watch t which is good for the sport. Telling that a fight like this sells itself is buffoonery.
No fight "sells itself" in fact the biggest fights are being promoted the most heavily.

Why is this nikka being sought out for his opinions by multiple outlets now, dude is a fukking clown

Mostly gets camera time from BoxingEgo since they both in the Bay Area, often around Ward/Virgil camp, sparred with Khan...entertaining with his breakdowns, been right about some things...and, Garlic Butter.

In retrospective why do y'all think Golovkin blew up more than Kovalev?

Kovalev is in a heavier (so probably more accessible for casuals) and better-more competitive division than Golovkin, also a KO monster and tbh I think a better fighter overall but it's still Golovkin who blew up.
Personality wise they are both marketable, just the opposites, Golovkin aka the good guy, Kovalev aka the mean mfer

I guess it has something to do with K2 being better at promotion than Main Events but it still feels like HBO meant Golovkin as the bigger star out of the two from the beginning even before Kovalev's racist antics became known (not sure that would bother HBO anyway).
Not sure.........but am actually happy GGG does. He seems like an upstanding dude. F*&$ Kkkov :pacspit:

This may be the most surreal thing I may see all year :dwillhuh:

he know some shyt he just biased a bit vs spence cause he always said he would lose to kell and spence didn't.

hes very salty that hes wrong. no way spence only won one round.

plus hes wrong about it being the same eye that ggg hurt and all 3 judges actually had spence up at the time of the stoppage.

looks like he could be trollin for attention now cause all of those talking points have been proven false.

Yea I know him from the Ego vids, but I'm saying if he's gonna be appearing all over Boxing YouTube saying dumb shyt like this then nikkas don't need to make him a voice like the Garcias. Smh @ him saying since the other eye socket got broke, that made the other one more prone to getting clapped.

80s heavies...a generation of wasted talent..he is at the top of the list
..dokes-weaver 2...pure 15 round heavyweight war..bring back 15 rounds

They were only considered "bad" because they followed up the GOAT decade of Heavy's...and because of how easily Tyson cleaned out the division in a few years.

Yeah they were alot of problems with those Heavy's with drug abuse and poor conditioning...but the best Heavy of the modern era got dominated by a coke head with up & down conditioning so what does that even mean? :pachaha:

Skills, fundamentals & talent...i'd put that 80's class of Heavys only behind the 70's....i think the parity you seen in the 80's between the non-Tyson/Holyfield/Holmes Heavys was due to the fact that there was so much talent in the division...which is why you saw upsets, and titles change hands so often...even the fringe contender level Heavies like Greg Page & Quick Tillis had crazy talent.

I'd take Greg Page or Quick Tillis over any Heavy in the division today skillwise...and both are not 10 Heavies of the 80's

Joe Joyce?
Joshua Buatsi?

Joyce is 31 years old so he's in the now or never phase already. HWs age slower and prime later than fighters in smaller divisions but it's still starting to be late for him if he doesn't move quick.

I think it's pretty much a consensus that the 70's is the GOAT followed by the 90's...but i'd put the 80's slightly above the 90's overall...but i can see an argument going either way

Prime Tyson
Prime Holmes (Early 80's)
Prime Holyfield
Tim Witherspoon
Tony Tucker
Razor Ruddock
Michael Spinks
Buster Douglas
Pinklon Thomas
Michael Dokes
Tony Tubbs
Carl Williams

Over

Prime Lennox
Prime Bowe
Past prime Holy
Past prime Tyson
Ancient Foreman
Ancient Holmes
Michael Moorer
David Tua
Ike Ibeabuchi
Ray Mercer
Tommy Morrison
Oliver McCall
Andrew Golota

It's close though...

Food for thought, take note on how old Heavies from the 70's were able to beat top heavies in the 90's like Moorer & Mercer...Tim Witherspoon gave Mercer that work at age 41 and got robbed. Tony Tubbs arguably beat Bowe....46 year old Holmes almost beat McCall

While those 70's top contenders like Norton, Shavers, Lyle, Young...were getting destroyed by 80's Heavies
