This is what Im saying....yall just hate on Freddie Roach.

Amir Khan was better under Virgil Hunter?:dwillhuh: How?:dwillhuh:

Amir Khan was MADE into a Champion, yes Freddie lead him to his 1st Championship. Khan under Roach is a 2x Champion, the only belts he won were with Roach, and has a 8-2 record by beating Marco Antonio Barrera, Kotelnik, Salita, Malignaggi, Maidana, Judah, and was robbed in DC by PEDerson. Only legit loss he took was to Danny Garcia.

Khan was easily at his best under Roach...Hunter has done nothing even close with Khan as Roach had done.

Even though I don't agree with Khan being robbed by PED (You can't win by running and pushing nikkas off of you)

I agree with everything else you said. Khan is not a thinking man's boxer so he'll never truly sync up with Virgil. Roach had the best idea for him. Box aggressively and outpoint the hell outta nikkas with speed. It worked most of the time except for when Khan's own flaws got exposed ( footwork and upper body out of sync during transitional movements, fighting too often instead of boxing, giving too much ground when moving, etc....)

kudryashov wins by ko...no surprise we thought he would win the first one.

anyways this dude stamina is terrible. I don't think he'll beat any elite fighter in his division even though he always has a puncher chance

Nice looking out :salute:caught it soon as you posted it. Kudryashov seems to be a crude boxer but he got dynamite in his hands. Can't complain about the stoppage.

looked early to me but by he had already been dropped 2 times he probably wouldn't have lasted much longer.

Well the ref was giving him plenty of time to get hisself together after the knockdowns. Like telling him to put his hands up but he never would. It was kind of early but you can't complain. Sort of like the joshua-klit stoppage .

And yea you right he has a punchers chance but damn I just want to know how he hit so damn hard :picard:

Khan would've won all those fights under Virgil and probably easier. Thats why he left. Roach has limitations. Virgil made him more composed in the ring which is what he needed. The two best boxers he faced with roach, he lost. Maidana was impressive but even in that fight he faded late and couldn't make adjustments. Only thing that saved him was time. I'm sorry I just think Freddie is overrated and nothing is gonna change my mind. When you hear about a fighter hiring Freddie now its not even news worthy:yeshrug:

And when I say overrated I mean in the sense of everybody calling him the GOAT. He's still one of the best and deserves credit for the pacquiao success. But hes not the GOAT like everybody claims. That's why he barely gets any big fighters anymore. It's like when cotto beat up on bums and a flabby Martinez. Roach was getting all the credit for transforming cotto. even though he was the same exact fighter. Once he fought a legit guy, that was obvious. Roach is very good, but not the GOAT. it's hard to rank trainers anyway, but I've seen enough to know Freddie isnt above the rest of these guys.

Cotto did look better once he got with Roach. With Roach, he sort of got back to things he seemed to abandon.

I like Roach with fighters who need to throw their hands more. Someone like a Broner.

That's what I'm saying too. Roach is great for aggressive fighters. When a guy can benefit from throwing more, roach is perfect. But hes just not that good with other styles. Not like garcia at least....whos proven he can teach slick fighters and aggressive. That's why I have Robert at 1. The rest of the guys are really interchangeable. And roach robbed garcia of at least 1 trainer of the year award. The media was just giving them to him by default it seemed like.

Really?

Did you see Khan, with Hunter, vs Algieri?:mjpls:

If you think Khan lost to Maidana, then Im 100% sure you think he lost to Algieri....so what does that say for Khan/Hunter?:hubie:

Khan/Roach:
2x Champion, 8-2 record, wins over MAB, Judah, Salita, Maidana, Malignaggi as his top 5 wins.

Khan/Hunter:
0 Championships, 5-1 record, wins over Luis Collazo/Devon Alexander/Chris Algieri/Carlos Molina/Julio Diaz

It's not a comparision:hubie:
