only thing I care about is if the fighter actually improves with a trainer. are you saying roach MADE 27 champions or that he just trained them?.....because he trained oscar and b hop who were already champions before him so I don't see why they should be included in the champions that he trained. he definitely didn't improve b hop or oscar in any way. pascal was better before him. khan was better under virgil. there hasn't been many instances over the recent years where I could say damn, freddie really took that guy to the next level.....like I said. he just tries to turn every guy into manny pacquiao. amir khan was garbage under him. footwork was abysmal. I just think freddie is incredibly overrated

Khan under Roach is a 2x Champion, the only belts he won were with Roach, and has a 8-2 record by beating Marco Antonio Barrera, Kotelnik, Salita, Malignaggi, Maidana, Judah, and was robbed in DC by PEDerson. Only legit loss he took was to Danny Garcia.
Khan was easily at his best under Roach...Hunter has done nothing even close with Khan as Roach had done.

Khan had just lost to Bredis Prescott before getting with Freddie Roach....he then went on to become a 2x Champion & reach his highest peaks under Roach's tutelage.
