That footwork isn't just used for offense...it's applied defensively as well. If Loma didn't throw so many punches, and threw less like Sweet Pea/Floyd, then nikkas would hardly ever lay a glove on him. You don't embarrass both Russell (one of the fastest fighters in the sport period) & Walters (one of, if not thee hardest puncher in the division) in the fashion Loma did without defense
It's not like he bombed them out...just straight out boxed em both

I don't see the Sweet Pea as much as I see the combo of PBF and Money Mayweather. His footwork is obviously A++++ elite, but his upper body movement is
defensively and offensively. Also remember, before Money Mayweather, was PBF who got clipped a bit more, but was an offensive juggernaut.

naw .....hes good but hes not what people are saying. ive never seen nothing wrong with comparing a guy to pac who many still believe is the best fighter of this gen.
when did I say he didn't have defense...I said he takes more chances and any boxer that does that will get hit more and open for big counters....that a fact.

salido fight proves his defense is very good but not may/sweet pea type (which we will never see again anyways). dude got hit with the same left hook over n over. even krack agreed when I showed him the gif and he was like it cause he fight southpaw. so how am I hating or not doubting him defense wise.
roach says craw compares to may but I have never cosigned such foolishness. nikkas need to understand that im a hard critic of my own fighters so don't take offense of what im saying bout anyone else....im just that type of nikka.lol

I don't like Pac as a human but he was a great fighter so that's a compliment.
Loma's style reminds me of Pac more than of Floyd or Sweet Pea but that's not a criticism.
Because Loma's defense is much better than Pacquiao's and that is what @hyperman25 was talking about...his defense:
Comparing him to Pacquiao is a lazy comparison bc Pacquiao doesn't slip, counter, or turn his opponents like Vasyl Lomachenko does. They have a few similarities offensively, but Lomachenko is more varied in his punches than Pacquiao is as well.

He's not Pac, because he throws more variety, and uses many more subtle defensive moves than Pacquiao has in his arsenal.

Loma has a Andre Ward skill set and fight style with more sharpness and slightly more intangibles skillset wise, he needs to improve his foot work he also lean out to the same side instead of moving his feet; people that aint afraid of his pitty pat punches and walk him down will force him out of his element; he needs a Salido rematch like Arum states, if he ducks that there is a mental chink in his armor
