yeah

@Yuzo @patscorpio Have you guys ever seen anything like that with the pawing down of the glove and throwing the left or right hook?

he reminds me of pac lite....of course not completely the same but similar.....:jbhmm:

I see a great quick offensive fighter(swarmer type) that comes in at quick awkward angles that is open for more counters cause he TAKES more CHANCES.

I don't see the defensive/expert slick boxer/counter guy like Floyd/sweet pea/benitez like people(hbo) are tryna force for whatever reason.

I was thinking the same. Pac without the punching power, albeit there seems to be more refinement to Loma's technical skills.

Agree, that's what I wrote too after Saturday. His style reminds me of Pac too.
Difference is that Pac was even more offensive and had a bigger pop but Loma is more responsible defensively.

Yall still refusing to believe huh?:sas1:

That footwork isn't just used for offense...it's applied defensively as well. If Loma didn't throw so many punches, and threw less like Sweet Pea/Floyd, then nikkas would hardly ever lay a glove on him. You don't embarrass both Russell (one of the fastest fighters in the sport period) & Walters (one of, if not thee hardest puncher in the division) in the fashion Loma did without defense:sas2:

It's not like he bombed them out...just straight out boxed em both:obama:

I was trying to put it down who he reminds me of the most, and I came up with a combination of Pac/Floyd/RJJ. Obviously I'm sure there are some old school fighters I don't know about that he was influenced by, both those are the three I see.

He fights like Floyd not because of the D, but because he fights in the pocket almost exclusively. Instead of being on the front foot pivoting, he does a lot of lateral movement and upper body shifting, but all from the pocket. Very interesting.

man... I said "defensively more responsible" plus how can you think it's not a compliment that I compared his style to Pac's? :martin:
I don't like Pac as a human but he was a great fighter so that's a compliment.
Loma's style reminds me of Pac more than of Floyd or Sweet Pea but that's not a criticism.
