How many Champions today have no amateur experience?

You need to have amateur experience breh...that's like standard practice:heh:
today?

Canelo

but in the history there are shytload of Mexican fighters who either never had or just a little amateur experience

Salido for example... Idk if he ever was an amateur, probably not

then there's Hamed...
there's Pacquiao

I looked up on it a little more

Billy Conn, Dwight Muhammad Quawi, Margarito, Castillo, Rahman, , Wilfredo Vasquez Jr., Duran, Chavez, Chavez Jr, JMM, Tyson, Salvador Sanchez, Glen Johnson, Jennings, Sergio Martinez, Shavers, Rocky Marciano... all of them either didn't have any am experience or just very subpar, 20-30 fights or less which is practically nothing when we have dudes with 300-400 amateur fights like Loma or Golovkin

Having no amateur experience, or 30 amateur fights or less, is putting yourself at a disadvantage in today's Boxing climate imo

Learning on the job isn't something many fighters can do successfully....even looking at your list, you have compiled a list of fighters from different eras in order to come up with 21 fighters. I can name probably double that amount of Champions who have had 50 or more amateur fights

And both Pacquiao, Tyson had amateur experience of more than 30 fights. Generally, the most skilled Boxers/Champions had pretty lengthy amateur careers (50+ fights)

I'm aware of that but it's still not true that one MUST have a significant amateur experience to be successful. It's just less likely if they don't have.

Didn't know about Pac and Tyson though

Nope...it's not mandatory, but I would advise against it personally.

Yup. Amateur experience is invaluable. Not to mention, even though you're not getting paid, if you're successful, it sets you up for big paydays and big opportunities when you do turn pro.

Did you ever see an autistic person? :heh:
Thurman acts nothing like that. He is well spoken, loud, likes to be in the center of attention

autistic people are the opposite of that
