- Rob Brant is one of two opponents being mentioned for BJS.
- On Froch saying he would beat GGG? Should have taken the fight and not retired. Would have been a great fight.
- Canelo is supposed to fight again this year on Dec. 10. Word is it is supposed to be a legit 160 lb fighter. Possibilities are: Rosado-Monroe winner, Lemieux, and Stevens.
- Likes the idea of Canelo vs. Lemieux, as long as it is on regular HBO.
- Did Brook "expose" GGG? He had no fear of Brook's power. Do you think he fights that reckless vs. Canelo?
- Brook was on his way to being KO'd, his corner did the right thing.
- The atmosphere at the O2 Arena was fantastic.
- Believes that GGG stays at 160 until he can at least break Hopkins defense record.
- Canelo vs. Smith PPV buys? Canelo's smaller PPV's did in the 325-350k range, that seems about right for this one.
- Smith's resume is very bad, but we really don't know what level of opponent he is until we see him vs. Canelo.
- Talked with Froch at the GGG fight and feels like he is absolutely going to remain retired.
- Believes that Jacobs does want to fight GGG. Will it happen? Not sure, there are a lot of obstacles.
- Does not believe Brook will go back to 147. Expects him to fight at 154 when he returns.
- Who wants to fight GGG, BJS or Eubanks? Neither.
- Told that the UK Brook-GGG PPV did 450k with a chance to reach 500k.
- Told that Brook gets 80 percent of the profit of the event against his guarantee. GGG got a guarantee, plus certain TV money. Believe he got 50% of the HBO money and money in certain Eastern Euro/former Soviet territories.
- Any truth to the rumors of GGG using tampered gloves? None whatsoever.
- Jerry Jones and GB are saying 40k tickets have been sold so far.
- Picking Canelo by KO and Rosado W12.
- Inoue vs. Chocolatito? Hopefully this time next year.
- Had Chocolatito beating Cuadras 8-4.
- Arum is struggling to find Lomachenko a fall date with HBO. He is trying to get Lomachenko and Crawford fights, but it is not looking very good.
- Quality of the Ward vs. Kovalev undercard? Nothing set yet, but he does not have high hopes.
- No plans for Ward vs. Kovalev to be in theaters.
- Vargas is going to look for a softer fight and then maybe a rematch with Miura or Salido.
- DeGale vs. Jack? It is supposed to happen this year, but when talking to both sides it doesn't sound as if it will. DeGale wants more money than Hearn says is available for this fight.
- Buy or Sell: Cotto will not fight in 2016? Buy. Does not think the rumored PPV on Dec. 3 will happen. Peterson is still probably the opponent in waiting, but doesn't think it comes off this year.
- LSC picked up his rematch, so unless he withdraws that, LSC vs. Frampton is the next fight for both of them.
- Has heard the rumor of Danny Garcia vs. Molina, but was told by someone who would be involved with making the fight happen that the matchup is not happening.
- Fastest fighters he has seen in person? RJJ, Mayweather, and GRJ.
- Prime SRL vs. Mayweather? SRL.
- Tyson Fury's excuses for not being at the press conference? He is a joke.
- Showtime will not work with Arum on any fights until he drops the lawsuit against them in regards to Mayweather-Pacquiao.
- Easter won the fight and deserved it. The KD in the 8th round was the wrong call.
- Heard that Luis Ortiz paid $1 million to get out of his contract with GB and had no deal lined up. Hearing he is currently talking with Eddie Hearn.
- Charlo vs. J-Rock? Supposed to happen this fall, probably on Showtime.
- Keith Thurman will not fight again this year.
