@LauderdaleBoss
Its always interesting to see a so called great fighter move up in divisions..
Rimerez is a champion and is willing to fight ggg at 168(jacobs doesnt seem that interested and isnt champion). ggg will get much more respect and recognition becoming champion at a higher weight class... where he could also unify and fight the winner of Degale/Jack..
160 is trash at any point in time the 160 version of Jermaine Taylor could come back and win a belt there lol
Nah, GGG would get about the same credit for beating Ramirez that Ward would have gotten for fighting Bute (who was unproven as hell at the time as well)
On one hand you got nikkas saying Eubank is still green, but then cats are acting like Ramirez ain't green as well. One win over a past it Abraham ain't saying much.
Like I said before Canelo and the winner of Degale/Jack are the only big fights out there for GGG at 160-168. So far nobody has been able to name any bigger fights than those two bouts.
160 is only trash because nikkas aint fighting each other. It took about 2 years for Quillin/Jacobs to happen and ditto for about any other meaningful bout at 160.
Look how loaded 154, and we only get to see the top dogs matched up once or twice for the whole year.
Cruiserweight seems like the only division that's churning out good match ups consistently.
