I think despite lying last time in the ring canelbowe wants this fight at 155.

I don't think he gonna change either since he knows he can make decent money without ggg..

guess they just wait until ggg give in to their demands or when they are ready to move up to 161.

People seem to be losing sight of the fact that Canelo only dropped the belt - he didn't drop out of negotiations. Let's see what happens before we burn dude at the stake, shall we?
:mjlol:

This is the equivalent of we could still be friends....Negotiations are done, Canelo relinquished a bargaining chip to ggg with little fukks given....

No point in fighting ggg now there's no money in it Canelo Khan just flopped Canelo knows he could bring in 300,000 himself, well ggg hasn't beat anyone and can't sell shyt there's no point of fighting now if ggg doesn't bring anything to the table
Is boxing in a drought then?

Shoulda jus dropped the belt when he got it from cotto

Instead let 9 months of GGG vs Canelo hype N HBO pushing it

Now there's all this backlash
This is publicity Canelo is helping ggg out, the fight has to build as ggg cant even sell 100,000, you think HBO and GB want to blow this ppv now and can't recoup

Boxing is in its apex breh, numbers dont lie, fighters are making more than ever...

If Ggg was serious about building a rep he'd be calling up 154 fighters like the charlos, Andrade, Trout, Lara or calling some of them 168 fighters like Chavez to his division, he sitting on the sidelines doing shyt so its evident cash out is on his mind, how can anyone blame Canelo, when he earned the crown the hard way

Team Canelo dropping the belt was to be expected. His team just isn't interested in making the fight right now. Like I said before, GGG is 34 years old. They will let him age some more. I can see it happening in a couple of years. Maybe even late next year. What GGG has going for him is that he is the 2nd most popular middleweight behind Canelo. At 154-160, the "names" just aren't there, so its only a matter of time. It's gonna eventually be a situation where the best fighters in the division make the most sense & present the best option.

Canelo is in a situation where he's physically too big for the fights he wants/needs. At 140-147, you can make real good money picking & choosing. You can fight an over the hill judah, turn around & fight a Berto, oh there's a guerrero, how about algeri, let me fight a Brandon Rios, etc. ''

They are gonna keep this 155 thing going until they can't.

This debacle is a WBC issue they sat allowing Sergio, and Cotto to duck ggg, negotiating side deals...Hold a gun to boxings a side as soon as he touched the title and after only one defense, shyt is nonsensical

Absolutely right

Not to mention the fukkery of the WBC letting GGG unify his WBA with their interim

But not letting Matthysse doing the same exact thing with PEDs IBF... Robbing us of an official undisputed Champ at 140

Receipts? :lupe:

The Canelo vs Khan post fight conference:

“For me, there are no issues,” the WBC/lineal middleweight champion said at his post-fight news conference, referring to his mandated but oft-doubted future middleweight unification bout against Gennady Golovkin. “I’ll fight at 160 pounds, no problem.”

Canelo Alvarez ready to fight Gennady Golovkin at '160 pounds, no problem'

Only to drop the belt 2 weeks later after saying this. He should've stayed saying either 155 or no fight instead, just like against Floyd, he he gave out the wrong weight and now he looks silly & lIke he backed down from his own words:snoop:

He HAS to fight lil g at 160 now:wow:

That's what he should've did. Won it...carried it around for a week or 2...then vacated and said he can't fight any higher than 155.

Instead, he opens his mouth saying he's a Mexican that doesn't fukk around & that he will fight lil g at 160....then drops it 2 weeks later.

This is NOT what I expected:wow:
