I like both boxers, but picked Moreno to win that one. When he lost I was like Even my pops was pissed.

Made me respect Mares even more though, because he fought the right type of fight to win.

I heard Moreno had a pretty good scrap recently. I gotta hit that shyt up.

Cats like Trinidad and Casamayor would be looked at as straight up black dudes down here, but then those be the type of dudes that will think I'm Spanish.

nikkas don't have to be all that accomplished in order to be a bad style match up for someone.

Leo Santa Cruz's resume was looking like Kimbo's when compared to Abner Mares record and he still soundly defeated Mares.

Sure resumes play their part in evaluating head to head matches, but it's not the only thing.

Mares was in his physical prime too, but it's usually harder to come back from a brutal KO than it is to bounce back from a decision loss where you hardly took any punishment.

Mares has actually CLEARLY beaten top level fighters in his division. He didn't win a bunch of close could go either way fights like Canelo did with Trout and Lara.

So with all that master boxer talk.

Mares got one of the best resumes in boxing. It's just that nikkas don't respect the smaller weight classes so they'll just dismiss people.

Mare's has also proven himself against all types of styles too.

He did better against Moreno (slick southpaw) than Canelo did with Lara (slick southpaw)

Canelo is a better fighter than when he fought Lara and he did outbox lara who is one of the better boxers in the world.

Boxing.means to hit without getting hit the only man to do that against canelo is the 5th best fightern of all time

There's only 4 "master boxers" today....Floyd Mayweather Jr, Guillermo Rigondeaux, Vasyl Lomachenko, and Andre Ward.

He clearly beat 2 outta those three. Did Lara or trot even win on any of the judge's scorecards. Canelo is the best counterpuncher in boxing right now. He is a master boxer
