Mods get called fakkits everyday b. :martin:

If you have thin skin...maybe you're not cut out for the position.

And the thread was an interview thread about Deontay Wilder...part of the interview was him talking about fighting MMA guys...we put 2+2 together in the thread and hypothesized that it was Cain that he fought, based on him being a champ which Wilder mentioned...couple that with strange body language in a interaction he had with Wilder in another video, which made for an interesting discussion...problem????

You coulda at least put some question marks by the title or something...or replaced the title with a more objective title instead of deleting the thread just because you caught feelings over some harmless internet banter.

In :cape:purposed offer HIS network pays him... so why the hell wouldn't his network want to be involved with the fight :dahell:

:cape: fights are always a packed house... CanadiCACS all front row :stylin:for Stevenson.... Fat Dan full of shyt as always :duck:

But Showtime claims they don't want the fight on PPV...so why would they be paying Stevenson, especially when Stevenson doesn't have an exclusive contract w/ them and hasn't fought on Showtime since 2014.

Stevenson can fight on HBO and was willing too if ME won the purse bid. Let's not forget that fact.

That offer was very fair. Just because Stevenson doesn't have an exclusive contract doesn't mean he should just fight on HBO all willy nilly. Especially when he can get paid more to have the fight on another network. fukk HBO and their frugal ass :pacspit:

Yes it does, because they said they would fight on HBO if ME won the purse bid.

ME, stupidly, backed out of the purse bid...but that doesn't change the fact that Team Stevenson WAS willing to fight on HBO period. Now all of a sudden, they must have Showtime included....why?

But yet, the Head Of Showtime is saying the fight doesn't belong on PPV...

...so what is Team Stevenson & his promoter talking about needing HBO/Showtime joint ppv?:jbhmm:

That's why I said in Superman's proposed deal breh :dwillhuh:...you trying to say he's making shyt up??

Showtime doesn't want the fight on PPV they want it on CBS so they can fight in front of 3 million plus viewers N get advertising $$$$

Stevenson doesn't have an exclusive contract with showtime but since leaving HBO his fights been on Showtime, Spike, CBS...They all under the same Viacom umbrella...for all we know they have a verbal agreement or Haymon made a deal we don't know about

Yea we all know about the purse bid....of course Superman N em woulda fought on HBO if Main Events won a purse bid...you realize the ridiculous amount of money Main Events had to put up in order to win that :mjlol:

Because the money put up in a purse bid to fight on HBO...doesn't come anywhere near to the amount of money they dealing with now

Because :cape: would be getting more then a 50/50 split on a purse bid

Btw, I'm officially sold on Lubin @Newzz

This kid is the real deal, and I think he's the best up and comer. Better than Spence, better than Verdejo. I think he can be an elite fighter, and he'll definitely be a champ in the future

:wow:

I told you breh, just watching him fight and realizing the subtle gifts he has...clearly beating everyone he's faced (every opponent he's faced has had a winning record), and he's just turned 20 years old:mjcry:

But we don't know that, so that cant be used as proof or factual breh.

We know for a fact that Stevenson has no exclusive contract with Showtime and can fight on whatever network he pleases. We also know for a fact that Stevenson's promoter is saying that a joint HBO/Showtime PPV is needed, while Showtime is saying it isn't. That's a direct contradiction between Team Stevenson right there, because they are STILL on twitter right now saying they want PPV:heh:

So, if Showtime isn't on board with a PPV, why are we discussing them in a PPV joint venture? Fight could easily be made with Stevenson vs Kovalev on HBO PPV, but because "loyalty" from Yvon Michel, we cant get the fight.

allegiance, business, partnership of Yvon Michel is > #strongerthanacontract ...not Adonis Stevenson, because he has 0 exclusivity to any network:yeshrug:

His management/promoter is gonna make him lose out on his career high pay day....if Showtime was really loyal to Stevenson as Yvon Michel is trying to make Stevenson to them, he would have a huge, multi-million exclusive contract like Kovalev has with HBO. Instead, he's a network FA:sas2:
