So, AB cant fight Theophane (who actually called him out, AB just answering the call).....but nobody had nothing to say when Champion Roman Gonzalez fought a dude unranked fighter just 2 fights ago, tons of GGG's fights (as a Champion) were against unranked opponents, do I even need to dig in the crates and go to the legends (JCC Sr, B-Hop, etc)?

Hell, if yall already forget, we coming off of fighting 2 former Champions in back to back fights....and nikkas still wont give AB time to rest.


This would possibly be our 4th fight of the year coming off 2 Championship level opponents, including 1 who was Top 5 in the division above us and the other coming just off losing his belt in a close fight that could've went either way in his previous fight.


Damn, let the man get him a Valentin Leon (unranked with a record of 38-29-3 at the time of the fight against Gonzalez 8 months ago) type of fight like the #1 P4P just did

The former Champion, who lost his belt in the fight BEFORE facing Broner, wasn't a real fighter? Even though every Boxing writer/journalist had no problems with the matchup, calling it a good matchup, just didn't want it to be the for belt

I think if your a recent champ, who has successfully defended your belt and your in the top 20 your a bit above a stay busy fighter! Thats just my opinion though it seems reasonable enough to be considered as a legitimate standard.

Yeah I know, Im just saying in general if your one of the 20 even 25 best fighters in your weight class in the world than your not really a stay busy fighter. Obviously there are exceptions to the rule
but even after losing to AB convincingly he still a top 20 fighter. Add to it if your a recent title holder who successfully defended your belt your well above a guy like Theophene whose basically
a really good sparring partner. Yet even hes still better than who some legends fought in there stay busy fights though.

Khabib hadn't fought in over a year (in a fight that he lost) and shouldn't even have been fighting for that vacant belt. Plus he was never all that great to begin with. Dude was Theophane level as far as I am concerned.

Why should Khabib not have been fighting for his belt, that he lost in a CLOSE fight to Vargas, that Jessie Vargas vacated breh?

#1 ranked wasn't an option due to injury, #3 who knows, #4 wasn't leaving Italy...that means the #5 ranked gets the title shot. What's the problem?

Because he hadn't done jack shyt for over a full year. Its not like Khabib was still fighting and winning before the belt got vacated. He was basically on a hiatus and as such should have been sent to the back of the line and someone who was actually active and ranked should have gotten the shot.

Breh...this is the WBA rankings from before Broner/Khabib fought. Knowing TR & GB don't deal with PBC (and Al Haymon has Amir Imam as well who's been on Twitter calling out Postol & The WBC since last Saturday night being he's the mandatory), who would you have rather AB faced over Khabib?
