Breh...this is the WBA rankings from before Broner/Khabib fought. Knowing TR & GB don't deal with PBC (and Al Haymon has Amir Imam as well who's been on Twitter calling out Postol & The WBC since last Saturday night being he's the mandatory), who would you have rather AB faced over Khabib? :mjpls:

SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT 140 Lbs / 63.50 Kgs
WBA WORLD CHAMPION VACANT EMP
WBC VACANT
IBF CESAR CUENCA
WBO TERENCE CRAWFORD

TITLE BOXER ORGANIZATION COUNTRY
1 JOSE BENAVIDEZ INTERIM CHAMP USA
2 ADRIEN BRONER USA
3 AMIR IMAM USA
4 MICHELLE DI ROCCO ITA
5 KHABIB ALLAKHVERDIEV RUS
6 MAURICIO HERRERA USA
7 LUCA GIACON ESP
8 RUSLAN PROVODNIKOV RUS
9 OMAR FIGUEROA USA
10 KIRYL RELIKH I/C BLR
11 THOMAS DULORME PUR
12 ALBERTO MOSQUERA LAC PAN
13 CZAR AMONSOT PABA PHI
14 JULIO DE JESUS DOM
15 RAMAL AMANOV INT AZE

Who would've been better? Luca Giacon?
What injury does Benavidez have? Did something happen to him in the Paez fight in May?
Amir Imam would have been a better option.
Mauricio Herrera would have been better too. Did he sign with Golden Boy? I can't remember. Even if he did Oscar has shown a willingness to co-promote for titles or if it is in the best interest of one of his fighters.
And my point about Khabib not being deserving of even being ranked still stands. He was inactive for over a year; he should have been dropped completely.

Im sorry...incorrect. I went back to check my facts and he was ordered to fight #4 Michelle Di Rocco for the WBA Super Junior Welterweight Championship being that Benavidez was already the Interim Super Champion.

I heard he was injured, but he's not. He's supposed to be fighting Di Rocco next.

Amir Imam would have been a better option.
He was not an option. He's with Haymon and the mandatory for the winner of Matthysse/Postol (Postol). No way would Haymon have his 2 fighters kill each other and leave a belt on the table.

Herrera is signed to GB and Coke Boy is suing Haymon currently. GB & PBC won't do business unless it's a mandatory defense

And my point about Khabib not being deserving of even being ranked still stands. He was inactive for over a year; he should have been dropped completely.

I feel you. But I'm just saying, if not him and the guys above weren't options...then who would've been better?

That's why I said Haymon created a great situation for AB to pick up a belt once I found out Imam was a Haymon fighter and #3 WBC too

The former Champion, who lost his belt in the fight BEFORE facing Broner, wasn't a real fighter? Even though every Boxing writer/journalist had no problems with the matchup, calling it a good matchup, just didn't want it to be the for belt:camby:

Why don't you worry about Pacquiao talking about "bu-bu-but God told me I was gonna lose before the Mayweather fight." I've been waiting for you to pop up so we address that anyways ever since @hyperman25 posted it:rudy:

He knows he clearly lost, We know he clearly lost, Freddie Roach knows he clearly lost, GOD himself knows he clearly lost......only person who even argues that is you:mjlol:
im sorry...pacquaio said what:mjlol:

please show me this:mjlol:

Manny Pacquiao Says ‘The Lord’ Told Him He Was Going To Lose To Floyd Mayweather
BY BANSKY • 10/8/2015

For most, the Floyd Mayweather decision victory over Manny Pacquiao back in May was not only a clear victory but also a safe bet. Experts knew Floyd’s slick, defensive style would stymie Manny’s relentless attack and make for a boring fight and a decisive victory for Mayweather. Apparently Manny knew this as well, and his information came from the mightiest source of them all: God.

Yes, Manny Pacquiao told Karen Davila of ANC’s “Headstart” in the Philippines that “The Lord” showed him in a dream a month before the fight that he would lose. “One month before the fight I dreamt that I lost the decision,” Manny told Davila during an interview in which he announced he plans to run for Senate in 2016.

Manny continued, saying in half-English, half-Tagalog that he felt blessed to know the result before the fight: “It was already shown me. So I am still blessed because the Lord informed that this would happen.”

This conflicts with Manny’s immediate response to the result of the fight, when
he told Max Kellerman that he thought he’d won the fight. Manny also blamed his performance on a shoulder injury that required surgery soon after the bout.

Manny went on to say he does plan to fight again in 2016 before his senatorial run later in the year. Check out the entire interview below.

Yeah you can't deny that Allah Haymon put Broner is a perfect position to pick up another title but just the whole shytty inner workings of the Alphabet Organizations half-ass ranking systems were exposed yet again.
It wasn't even Broner (or PBC) I had the issue with. Still don't mean I am not going to be on full hate patrol mode when that Theophane fight is finally official.:yawl.gif:

The absolute worst thing to happen to Manny was letting Jesus into his heart.

It's a weak matchup (Broner/Theophane)...I'm not gonna act like it isn't

Unless Theophane miraculously pops up within the WBA Top 15 before the fight:youngsabo:
