Still doesn't change the fact that he lost 3 1/2 years out of his prime.

He left at 25 and didn't return until he was almost 29. That's a HUGE chunk of your athletic prime taken from yiu

what hw boxer gives prime ali the most trouble ?

Stop trolling breh:camby:

How can you beat someone and then be told it doesn't count?:shaq2:

Ali was better than Foster period. Him KOing him in 8 rounds was the cherry on top.

I guess Lewis beating Holyfield doesn't count either since he had 30+ lbs on him.

Ali faced and defeated better opponents than Foster and Monzon combined. Foster also lost to Joe Frazier as well at Heavyweight which means he was no match for the elite Heavyweights of that time period.

Both.

im not trolling. those fights really meant nothing to anybody. everyone knows a great big man beats a great little man. foster just had the balls to go up and challenge. imagine mayweather fighting kovalev. thats the kind of weight difference we are talking about here. and come on moore was completely shot just getting by on pure technique fighting a young athletic great heavyweight. 50 years old and he started at mw. thats no fight. foster was so dominant at lhw he had to go up and face ali and frazier. of course he was no match for the elite heavyweights. he walked round at 180lbs max. he smaller framed than todays light heavyweights. imagine kovalev fighting kltichsko. its not a fight. if ali and foster were the same weight theres no doubt in my mind that fister would have won. he has the better jab. better puncher. just a better overall fighter at his weight.

i dont know why you think im trolling. this is why i dont argue boxing. its pointless. you have your opinion and i have mine. it just becomes a pointless argument of who can present better english on a computer.

Depeding on what you consider prime ali, prime tyson gives him a hell of a fight. Like dude said about ali pulling straight back with his chin up that could prove to be a disaster against prime tyson with his speed, movement, angles and power.

larry holmes....come on.

Prime Lennox Lewis with Emmanuel Steward in his camp was > Prime Larry Holmes imo. Lewis is the best "Super" Heavyweight in Boxing history imo and he was much larger than Holmes with more power. His jab wasn't exactly equal to Holmes, but he at worst has the 4th worst jab in Boxing history for a Heavyweight (Holmes obviously, Foreman, Ali all had excellent jabs as well).

I don't think a Prime Larry Holmes gives Ali more trouble than Frazier could either.

and what makes joe better then..tua/tyson....similar styles

Even though they both bit his style, Tua was nowhere near Frazier's skill level breh:heh:

As far as Tyson, athletically and power wise...Tyson > Frazier. He could do everything Frazier could do, except he was more explosive imo. What gives me the edge to Frazier though is his mind was stronger than Tyson's was. Frazier was a smarter boxer and didn't fold because he couldn't knock you down. Could you imagine Tyson facing Muhammad "Mind Games" Ali? There's no way that Tyson or Tua would give Ali any problems. Tua wasn't good enough and Tyson's mind wasn't strong enough.

Even though he has all the physical tools, I believe Mike Tyson's mind was too fragile to defeat Prime Ali breh.

He was too hot-headed + with Ali being a very disrespectful, motor mouth, trash talker who talked non-stop and liked to bring up your personal life= Tyson loses imo. Can you imagine Ali talking about Tyson's life growing up, voice, rape case, etc leading up to their fight?:damn:

Mike probably would've killed him literally before the fight:whew:

man flabby n sick holmes was beating prime mercer.

almost won over prime holyfield.....

imagine if holmes was in his prime during 90's............lewis could have easily got whooped....

plus lewis struggled with mercer.....

holmes too underrated imo

Lewis wasn't in his prime against Mercer. It was only his 4th fight with Emmanuel Steward in his corner breh....and he still got the W.

Same thing you're saying in Holmes favor, I can say in Lewis favor because a prime Holmes struggled with a :flabbynsick: Ken Norton and should've took that L to a very "green" Tim Witherspoon. I don't see a green Tim Witherspoon competing at all against a prime Lennox Lewis:yeshrug:

Oh....and I have Larry Holmes over Lennox Lewis all-time at Heavyweight, and would pick Holmes to beat Lewis, but styles & size make fights, and I just think Lennox Lewis w/Steward would give Ali more trouble than Holmes would.
