If @HARLEM AL isn't an old head, who was it that slapped boxed with jesus, licked shots at joseph?
playboi if 33 is old, then go ahead and flattop me:mjcry:
ME! The only time I lost at slap boxing was to Jesus, that why I licked shots at his earth pops, I had to redeem myself. I repented though.
My nikka, I'm going to need you to pick a spot in your house and have a fukking seat:deadrose: .... The toilet bowl or the couch. Whichever one that will help you get your mind right...

By Scott Gilfoid: Former IBF/WBA 140lb champion Amir “King” Khan (31-3, 19 KOs) disagrees with the recent reports that Floyd Mayweather Jr. (48-0, 26 KOs) has decided to pass him over for his September 12th fight because of his constant trash talking about him in trying to get a fight.

Khan believes that the reason why Mayweather has passed him over for the fight isn’t because of his trash talking, but rather than because he’s scared to fight him. Khan thinks Mayweather is afraid that he might lose if he were to face him.

Further, Khan says he could be 100-0 if he chose to be careful in picking just easy fights right now instead of facing the tougher opponents. Khan doesn’t say why he was beaten by Breidis Prescott in 2008 in a fight that was supposed to have been an easy one for him. Prescott knocked Khan out in the 1st round. Prescott would later lose to a number of fighters that suggests that he’s not a very good fighter.

“That is false; no one from Mayweather’s team got in touch with me,” Khan said via thenationa.ae. “He can use whatever excuses he likes, but the bottom line is Floyd is scared. He knows I’m fast and can give him his first loss. Amir Khan brings more money, more fans, and more exposure on the table.”

It’s always interesting when Khan speaks in the third person. But I don’t know what he’s talking about when he says he brings “more exposure on the table.” Is he saying more exposure than Andre Berto? I don’t think that Khan even brings more exposure than Berto in the United States. Casual boxing fans know who Berto is. They don’t have a clue who Khan is.

Only the hardcore boxing fans know who Khan is in the U.S. What’s sad about that is the fact that Khan has been fighting in the U.S for as long as WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin has, but Golovkin is the far more popular and recognized fighter in the States. Why is that? Well, I guess it’s because he’s been knocking guys out one after another since he started fighting in America, and he’s been beaten by Danny Garcia and Lamont Peterson like Khan.

Khan did not look good against Peterson, Garcia, Marcos Maidana, Chris Algieri and Julio Diaz. The only fights where Khan looked good in the last five years were against Devon Alexander, Zab Judah, Paulie Malignaggi and Luis Collazo. In other words, Khan has looked poor in 5 fights and looked good in just 4 fights in the last five years. Judah and Collazo were both over the hill when Khan fought them. Collazo was just a former paper champion who had disappeared for the most part after losing his WBA welterweight title in 2007.

“My fight against Chris Algieri got the highest-ever ratings in 10 years of a free-to-air boxing bout in the US. Everybody is criticizing him [Mayweather] for not picking me; the likes of Mike Tyson, ‘Sugar’ Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler. He’s been cherry-picking all his career,” Khan said.

Mayweather has fought Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, Miguel Cotto, Manny Pacquiao and Marcos Maidana in the last three years. I see Khan as a big step down from those fighters. Why should Mayweather resort to taking his career backwards instead of forwards? Khan is definitely a backwards step for Mayweather. I don’t know why Mayweather would want to waste time fighting a guy who arguably fought to a 12 round draw in his last fight against Algieri.

Khan has unfinished business with Algieri, Julio Diaz, Prescott, Danny Garcia and Lamont Peterson. Also, Khan’s win over Judah was a situation where Khan held him with his left arm while hitting him low with the other. That’s unfinished business too. That knockout should have never counted unless boxing wants to legalize holding and hitting.

“If I wanted, I could’ve been 100-0 right now, I could’ve cherry-picked all the easy fights and remained undefeated,” Khan said. “It means nothing in the world of boxing.”

Khan doesn’t make any sense at all. He hasn’t fought anyone good in the last three years, and here he is blabbing about how he could be 100-0 if he were facing weak opposition. Well, he’s been fighting weak opposition, and you can see where that has gotten him.

Khan hasn’t had a significant fight in years, and it’s kept him from becoming a popular fighter. We’ve already see Golovkin pass Khan up quickly in the last five years in terms of popularity, and that tells you Khan isn’t looking good in his fights and he’s not fighting the right guys

NONE!

Things Yoel said:

Zab beats Floyd 9 out of 10 times, it just happens he lost the first and only time:yeshrug: He was DEAD serious.

Al Haymon is Don King on steroids and isn't as fair as people make him out to be, but MUCH more fair than Don.

He originated, "Let's go champ!!" He lets Shannon live with it.

Tyson loses to Bowe.

A prime Anne Wolf beats Leila Ali and Amir Khan:pachaha:

Zab and Floyd beats Sweet Pea.:russ:

The best topic was Hearns vs. James Toney at Middle, Super Middle and Light Heavy.

would not be easy for prime mike...word to stewart.

I wasnt gonna bring this up, but I am before Floyd's next fight is officially announced:mjpls:

Low key, a couple regular posters have been notably absent from The Ring since the Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao fight happened:sas1:

Claimed they werent only Floyd/Pacquiao stans, acted like they cared about other fighters:mjlol:, but the proof is in the pudding:sas2:

I been partly absent lately because of how @patscorpio operates now. Idk wassup with the dude but he's acting like he's head honcho up in here. Real talk.

This man says he's not letting me do the Floyd-Berto thread because I said the media hate for Floyd was racially charged. Mind you that was a long time ago and it was true. Still is true. Let me also state this was/is my fukking opinion. fukk you care what I think ? As a mod on a boxing forum, dude is a huge Haymon hater and always talking down on PBC. PBC negga :dahell: . A boxing program giving us more fights and putting fighters on the map and letting other dudes eat. Dudes from small gyms. I never in my life hated on a Top Rank event, even though I know the fukkery that goes on and how TR mistreats fighters.

I just couldn't believe when the negga said he rather let somebody who never gets mixed up in racial stuff do the thread :mjlol: :dead:

In fact I m the only Berto aka Baby Haymon supporter who was getting that work from everyone since SOHH. Now we got more believers of course :blessed: and we appreciate the love and effort.

Even Fat Dan doesn't act like that dude. I still read but I post here less cuz I m trynna avoid unnecessary friction
