he'll choose weak ass glasskov...ranked high enough to not be called a bum but has no power to make him pay for dumb mistakes.:manny:

:lolbron:thats one way to put it...

Lucas browne would be a fun fight tho:lupe: aint going past 3.

Lee wants Julio Cesar Chavez Jr revenge

Andy-Lee-vs-Chavez-jr.jpg

ANDY Lee would love another crack at controversial Mexican superstar Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
The son of a legend, who also shared the ring with Oisin Fagan and John Duddy, is one of only two fighters to defeat the Limerick man and having avenged his Brian Vera loss the WBO World champion would relish the chance to avenge his Chavez Jr reverse.

The Mexican, who has struggled with weight in recent times and seems to have lost any passion for the game, stopped Lee in the seventh round of an El Paso Texas hosted World title bout in 2012.
The former Irish Olympian’s skill set saw him take the opening rounds, but Chavez slowed him down with body shots and eventually wore the Limerick man down.

There was controversy surrounding the result after Chavez Jr tested positive for marijuana post fight and put on 17 pounds plus from weigh in to fight night.

Speaking to Sky Sports Lee, who defends his WBO strap against Billy Joe Saunders in Thomond Park on Spetember 19, said ‘question marks’ surround what happened that night and he feels the bout played out on a playing field that slopped in favour of Chavez.

If reports of a lackluster Chavez Jr approach of late are true he may struggle to make middleweight again, but if the bout could be made it would be another massive night for Lee and Irish-boxing.
The 31 year old Adam Booth trained puncher says he would also like a Peter Quillin rematch, Lee suggests the draw the played out this year doesn’t sit well with him.

“To become a world champion after two losses proves my determination. Those losses still leave a bitter taste in my mouth. Brian Vera I overlooked and he’s a very tough man. The Chavez Jr fight I lost in the ring but there are a lot of question marks about what happened outside of it,” Lee told Sky Sports.

“I’ve learned from those two defeats but as far as Chavez Jr is concerned, I’d love a rematch with him because I don’t feel it was fought on a level playing field. Having lost and having come back has made me a better fighter.

“I’d like to fight Quillin again. I made a stupid mistake early in the first fight when I was looking to trade punches with him but I believe I have the beating of him. Had I boxed the first half like I boxed the second, I’d have won comprehensively.

“I don’t like a draw. I didn’t know how to react. It was almost like a win because I came back from two knockdowns but had I not boxed that way in earlier rounds, I feel I’d have won the fight and I would like to make that right.”

explain....already beat stiverne. same caliber....ummmm c or d fighters.

fat overweight never in shape chris who went 10 rds with an unknown jobber while amost losing.....#harperheros:troll:

ive also heard wilder tried to make the fight before but chris camp said no.

matter of fact, carlos takam is who he should fight to get him ready for povetkin. if u lose, u wasnt going to beat povekin anyways. if u win you gain valuable experience .:manny: but he probably want a guranteed check with povetkin , fury, josh, or wlad. he aint tryna mess up his money.:manny:

I like Arreola power and aggressive mentality. I wanna see if Wilder can deal with that, being he's never fought anyone like that.

Stiverne was severely dehydrated, so he couldn't perform

Dan Antonio...hypothetical four man tourney for the status of all-time great middleweight. First semifinal is SRL vs Roy Jones Jr....second semifinal is SRR vs Marvin Hagler. Who ya got??

At middleweight, Roy beats SRL and SRR beats Hagler and the final is Roy vs. SRR. I'd give a Roy a great shot but I guess you gotta go with the p4p king of all-time, SRR.

I agree with Fat Dan.

Roy > SRL, SRR > Hagler, SRR > Roy
