Can someone explain to me why there are no Boxing video games?
And more importantly, why is it that a 10 year old Japanese game has the most accurate and compelling career mode in the history of boxing games? You gotta watch what you eat, spar and schedule your training in advance of a fight, has multiple divisions around the world with different belts and ability to unify or change weight classes by increasing/decreasing your food intake.
The gameplay when you move up gets way too fast, but even then it makes no sense that someone can't take the career mode from this and build a boxing game around it
Becuz America is engulfed in MMA right now.
But my question is, are they really? These fights never really do serious numbers.

This is the perfect time for it. Hopefully, we get a "Al Haymon Presents: Premier Boxing Champions" for the PS4 & XBoxOne and featuring all his fighters in the near future
I remember knockout kings had the windy city gym (where I trained at the time) to choose as your home gym...shyt looked jus like it
Erry boxer had their own Special...like Zab would lean back to avoid a punch then combo with a ten punch flurry

My brehs, you don't know just how deep this boxing game is when it comes to scheduling and shyt, you can set a day during the week to spar and whether you want to wear headgear, how many ounces your gloves are who from your camp you'll be sparring against, could be a super middleweight while you're just a welterweight

Fight night champion is hands down the greatest boxing game ever.now that i think about it he might be able to use mayweather as a selling point. fight night could never get floyd on their game cause i think he wanted too much money, but maybe he does it for allah haymon .
also fight night was good but their sounds effects n controls are weak.

It's funny you say this because I discovered last week that I could emulate PS2 on my PC thanks to PCSX2. Had been playing Fight Night 3 since then
I actually had a 7 round war with Micky Ward in the WW division last week shyt was tense At some time we were both on the verge of KO and I dodged like 3/4 haymakers to the head which would have meant curtains to me I then manage to land a solid jab/right hook combo after a perfectly timed lean back which managed to put him to sleep 
I'm using Philly shell defense + Roy Jones boxing style trying to emulate Mayweather but they keep rocking my eyes ! And I often get stop by the ref because of cuts
It really seems like a simulation to me. Both Sugar are super annoying to fight because they parry and counter almost everything. James Toney is also super annoying because he's evasive as fukk.
