I hear you but manny's speed is not what it was and canelo's current power speed and skill is very real and will leave manny face first on the mat again.to say Pac is not a threat to Canelo is preposterous. this is a good fight. one with real intrigue. I dont think it will be a close fight....but that being said...I dont know who wins. if Canelo cant handle the speed....he will lose big. if Pac gets caught flush....he's getting stopped. I dont think its a clear favorite in this one. This is one we would have to wait and see. hopefully it comes off because this would be huge for boxing....and break some ice in the cold war. its a win-win for boxing and the fans.
I agree I dont think it is in Porter's best interest, the fight fan in me thinks that fight would be amazing.
Kirkland isnt a world beater or a huge name for your resume, but he can be in a lot of exciting matchups. The idea of two physical bullies fighting each other.
This dude Porter though, he looks like a JMW fighting at WW.
I will have to watch more of him...personally i am not a fan of bully fighters who rely on size and rough physical tactics...so i am interested to see what he looks like when he faces a fighter who pushes more of his boxing skills to be shown.
Thurman-Porter would be nice though.

I'd like to point out that this same Kirkland went to Angulos backyard and beat the dog shyt out of him, way before it was cool to go life and death with him like Lara did or do heavybag work like Canelo did. He did that after everyone wrote him off for the Ishida lost even though he was Wofless and out of shape. If that isn't worldclass I don;t know what is...
Kirkland would be great for anyone at 147 to have on their resume, especially if they can move back down to 147 and still dominate.

...i snorted real loud reading that breh...kirkland is world class..his conditioning is ridiculous when he's on....that kirkland-angulo fight was a slugfest..still the only time angulo has left his feet..then kirk lost all his momentum getting schooled by molina and having to be rescued by a shytty DQ 
...i dont see kirkland going down to 147....there are fights for him at 154..granted i dont think he'll beat floyd (a fight i wouldn't mind seeing) or molina..but he could lift the belt off andrade
