Yeah, I don't get the excitement for a Canelo-PacMan fight. Canelo is way bigger than PacMan...yeah I get Mayweather did it...but I don't find the fight interesting.

Canelo has good opponents naturally at 154 he needs to beat. Lara is a good fight, so are the Charlo's.

After the Porter fight, I have been thinking about how good Porter-Kirkland would be. Too bad the network feud won't allow that to happen.

At this point in Pacquiao's career I think Canelo is too much, but that isnt affecting my thoughts on the fight. I just dont have any interest in seeing it.
To me it seems like GB wants Canelo to be a PPV star, but he isnt the guy yet to turn in Manny or Floyd PPV numbers, without having an opponent who the fans know as well. Calling out Pacquaio smells of that desperation. Canelo can still pull a few hundred thousand buys, but I think they want him to be a million buy guy.
His opponents at 154 wont draw that interest...but they are legit fighters who Canelo needs to prove he can beat.

Then we get to Manny who comes to the weigh ins at 144...GB has a whole stable of fighters at 140 and 147, I would love to see him fight against if we are talking about crossing company lines. Manny-Canelo is on the bottom of my interest list.
