:whew:

That took me about about an hour and a half brehs:snoop:

I think we may need to stick with maybe the Top 10 Pound For Pound Rankings....well, I guess since we only updating once a month, it's cool. I have no problem with it:manny:

What yall think? I didnt see the need to wait any longer, because there arent any "meaningful" fights happening again until after the new year begins.

Any responses, criticism, + reps/daps (:shaq: ) will be greatly appreciated:salute:

Nice list but I see the disrespect at my boy Rigo.

I was one of the biggest fans of Rigo and still am but man you can't put on a show like his last fight and expect for networks to support you.

However, this comment about "the viewers voted" is kind of bullshyt because I remember reading that showtime's and HBO viewership was almost 50/50 that night. If he was making an argument about people walking out and booing then I would be less likely to call bullshyt.

I hope to see Rigo on an undercard at least in the future and hopefully once his contract runs out ( I think he only has 1-2 fights left right) he leaves bytch ass top rank. Its their job to make him marketable.

You cant make someone marketable who fights in a "boring" style to the masses AND who also doesnt speak English. Hell, people still think Floyd is boring and REALLY thought he was boring back in his lightweight days.....and he was much more of an offensive fighter than Rigondeaux is.

TR can do whatever they want, but they can not stop fans from booing your fight or walking out in disgust. Only the fighter can control what's going on in the ring, and if you have a clearly overmatched opponent in your face, in order to entertain the fans, you must press the action and try and get him up out of there. Rigondeaux didnt do that.

This is not "boxing" at this level. It's "Prize Fighting". You get booked and make more money via how entertaining you are to the fans. You can win and win and win......if the fans dont wanna watch you fight, you will not be on Major Networks or ever be a draw in this sport. (ie. Chris John, The K-Bros now, etc)

Rigondeaux is really gonna have to abandon his comfort if he wants to become a household name OR learn English, and become a "personality".

Nice list but I see the disrespect at my boy Rigo.

He's gonna have to show me more. It's kinda hard to gauge him because he's so defensive in there and it's hard as fukk to land a clean shot on him. However, his last opponent was 2-3 in his last 5 fights before fighting Rigondeaux and was clearly overmatched. Rigo was content to just take the "decision" instead of taking the chance of trying to get him out of there.

I'd like to see Rigo in there with somebody like Santa Cruz (which wont happen:snoop:). That would give us another opponent to gauge how great Rigo really is. The Donaire victory was excellent, but I need to see him dominate another elite opponent.

I dont believe currently there are any other "A class" opponents at 122 for him (bc of the GB/TR beef) and he needs to move up to 126

#1 ranked Super Flyweight Omar Navaez vs. David Carmona

I'm sure he has no plans to take any tough fights from here on but I wish the WBO would force a mandatory eliminator between Koki Kameda and Felipe Orcuta...he's holding the belt hostage like Chris John

Thats the point. The HBO president is saying that the HBO/Showtime viewing should NEVER be 50/50, because HBO has many more subscribers then Showtime does. If Rigo is (or was) the big draw all of his fans claimed to be, they would have been watching him on HBO instead of Broner on Showtime.

Top Rank's job to make him marketable? That is some dumb stuff you just wrote, bruh. They marketed his way into a main event fight on an HBO card, with an exciting co-main KO right before him. Its Top Rank's job to bring him to the market, man. They did that! Top Rank cant go in and fight for him in the ring. People need to chill with asinine comments like that. At the end of the day, if you are that much better then your opponent, go in the ring and waste him in 4 or 5 rounds.

Rigo is a great fighter, but not for TV. We want guys who will be willing to battle in the ring. Amateur boxing is not on TV for a reason.
