rigo knocked off one of arum's cash cows and he did it in a non entertaining but convincing fashion...he's a hard sell to anyone who's not a boxing head...he doesn't have an exciting style, there's no real opponents for him at 122 and/or who can sell tickets....promoter's nightmare..its kinda similar to when steve little (who had a record of 21-13-2) upset michael nunn for the super middleweight title back in the day...don king was the promoter and was pissed because he couldn't sell a fight with little as champion..he ended up giving him just 60k for his first title defense against Frankie Liles which he took and lost

Yes he does, he just coasts when he senses danger, but if he doesn't, you're food. You sell a product by advertising it, and you can't advertise something by not showcasing it. Arum, like most promoters, is not even trying.

Arum is the problem, not Rigo.

He beat an out of shape Morales then lost his very next fight.. and got KO'd 3 fights later... Pac was barely making 129 when Zahir fought Morales at LIGHTWEIGHT.. stop with the lies bytch boy.. Zahir Raheem was a horrible example.. so now I ask again... How is Rigondeax being punished with only 12 fights under his belt??

Real talk, Raheem was talented as hell and had a good style, but the only time he managed to put everything together was in the Morales fight. Yeah the ref was fukking him over in the Juarez fight, but its not like he was dominating like that and he did lose to a past it Freitas. Dude got chances, it's just that he never really made the most out of them.

HBO is telling Arum that they don't want Rigo on their network anymore.

WBA/WBO super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (12-0, 8 KO’s) may have done a great job of beating WBO super bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire in schooling him badly in a fight televised by HBO last April from New York, but HBO has no interest in televising Rigondeaux’s next fight, according to Dan Rafael.

Rigondeaux’s promoter Bob Arum says HBO doesn’t want to televise Rigondeaux’s next fight and he’s not sure what he’ll do for his next fight.

Arum said to Rafael at ESPN “Every time I mention him [Rigondeaux], they throw up. So I have to figure out who I could put him in with.”
