yeah im very skeptical on this move...dana spent so much time bashing boxing and now he wants in and got turki to bankroll...and im no fan of nick khan either

Dana has been wanting to get into boxing for years, it just never made sense until now.

I honestly believe he lowkey prefers boxing anyway, which is why he’s pursuing this.

I’m interested to see how this works out.

:pacspit: Dana White
Also not seeing how tf a WWE guy comes here.

Well one positive is that they'll be bringing their presentation with them. Which has been the biggest flaw in all of boxing since HBO left the game. UFC's presentation is outstanding. So I'm looking forward to how they change things up. Rumors that the bud vs canelo fight be the first fight that they handle. And they're saying it could be on Netflix :what:....if so, they better get their shyt together. That Jake Paul vs Tyson live stream was a disaster.

Rumors in boxing circles persist that TKO, the owner of UFC and WWE, will promote the fight date that is being prepared for later in 2025 between Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and Terence Crawford, which they plan to broadcast on Netflix, and to host at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas in September.

What’s the point of this whole thing?

Boxing’s problem was/is too many different promoters, belts and networks make the best fighting the best difficult.

In the last few years we definitely had an improvement, even before the Royadh Season cards but since then it’s even more evident. The good fights are happening. Out of the 14 undisputed champions in the 4 belt era 12 of them came 2017 and after, 10 came in the last 5 years.

Then when everything seems to be working out Turki brings in a WWE promoter (why?) and Dana White who most of boxing fans don’t like at all and who promoted his own shyt for years by shytting on boxing.
Why not just buy all the 4 belt organizations (he already bought 1) and let these promoters compete for that 1 world title/division? Why is Dana White and a new promotion needed for this?

Additionally I know White is a MAGA scumbag who forces Trump and his far right politics to UFC viewers too. I don’t want to watch fukking Trump and his endorsments on these cards :hhh:

You must not have watched Hagler from the late 70's & the early 80's. You're referring to his style when he left his prime. He was an highly skilled boxer/puncher that knew how to slip counter & get guys out of there.

I also respect your opinion but I highly suggest you go back to the tape & watch some early Hagler bro

Breh, I watched every Hagler fight out there. Willie the Worm Monroe, Bobby Boogaloo Watts, etc.. I agree with what you said about his boxing skill I just think he only fought one way and was able to get away with it because he was so good unlike Leonard who had to stick to specific game plans and even then had to make mid fight adjustments.
Against Benitez, Hearns, and specifically Hagler.

Take Duran for instance. Ray didn’t do shyt that 2nd fight but he frustrated the hell out of Duran. He knew it would be hard to beat Duran at his own game. Hagler would’ve never fought like that, he would’ve been embarrassed. Later Duran told Leonard he would beat Hagler if they fought. Hagler admitted he was frustrated fighting Duran because he kept trying to do the same thing over and over and could not get the success he wanted because of Duran’s excellent timing. What worked on Hearns didn’t work on Duran as good a boxer as Hagler he played in to Duran hands. Barkley did same thing.
