Just want Bud to go for 3 times Undisputed. He's literally only 2 fights away. Fundora for the WBO/WBC then the winner or Tszyu vs Bakhram Murtazaliev for the IBF

I know what he's looking to do and I respect it but I'm with you on this one. Would like to see him clean out 154 so certain nikkas in here can stop that "He's only known for beating Spence"

No nikka. He's known for being 4 division champ and 3 division undisputed :umad:

3 Division Undisputed 4 Unified or 5 Division unified + 2 Undisputed (if he goes through 160 path) imo are all better legacy wise than a Canelo cashout.

I feel if he is hell bent on the Canelo washout then do the 160 thing to continue to see how you feel and at least get something out of it.

Yupp, I agree. Would be great for his legacy
Then after those fights, he could maybe face Boots then ride off into the sunset, retire, and be Arabic Suge Knight Turki's business partner

You in Japan?

I was there last month. Brutally hot but finally got a chance to watch the sumo matches

btw, I was surprised to see no cutout ads of IInoue; but I saw a bunch for Otani
I forgot to add on re Inoue. I saw a large billboard for hs last fight downtown in Roppongi, but you're right, I didn't see a whole lot of others.

Sumo's is crazy right, such a great sport. I kicked it in VIP in a club with the former Grandmaster/Yokozuna Fuji Haruo and his stable understudies, that was an experience, I'll tell you that much. Different energy, on some rockstar/god status ish.

To me undisputed 154 and call it a day OR do a Ryan Garcia fukkery cash out at 154 and retire. But the canelo shyt is not worth it imo

Rather see Bud vs Charlo and Ryan then retire even over the unifications
It's a good point.

Social media and a collective but passive way of viewing has altered branding to a point of absurdity.

Say for example Crawford gets flatlined by Canelo for taking a fight he has no business taking, the casual viewer and even the aficionados opinions of the fighters legacy are evaporated in an instant. Do you take the cash and risk it all?

Look at Spence for example, a fine, even exceptional professional career, takes one loss (albeit a bad one), and automatically he's viewed as a bum by casuals and fanatics alike.

Cold world these days.

Shii, sahre the wealth next time; got fam out there now so may go again next year.

I wantt o catch a boxing match but not s popular as before. Japan has it all though, rasslin, mma (I think in Saitama Arena), boxing-->not as amany cards as 14 years ago, and sumo>>I was shocked each match lasts 10-20 seconds ... tops

Props to Fulton for going there even in a losing effort

<am. Spence lost to the bottle first, then the car accident, then more drankin'

Crawford still beats him in his prime IMO but would have been way more competitive.
