Problem is though that “who becomes the next mandatory?” and “when the mandatory fight will be ordered?” are two questions that only the governing bodies decide about. And besides the IBF all the other three bodies are keen to not follow any rules but just suddenly pop fighters on their rankings out of the blue obviously as a result of some promoter lobby in front of the whole world cause they know exactly that nobody’s gonna do anything about it. I think the only way the circle of corruption could end is forcing the hands of the organizations, not the fighters themselves.

I think that is just the nature of solo sports. They isn't a regular season/playoff schedule where there's a team vs team dynamic to see who comes out on top. I feel Boxing should follow the Tennis route. Rankings are based on wins and who is more active participating in more tournaments than the next man. That being translated into Boxing would work wonders in my opinion. Along with their Win/Loss record, Boxers who fight 4 times a year should be rewarded extra points to their rankings than Boxers who fight 1 time a year. There has to be a system that rewards activity

Tournaments would take a year or more though. There isnt a way to make a predictable schedule for a boxer because engaging in a war will sit you out longer

Didn't say I wanted a predictable schedule. But a tournament similar to the Super Six that Andre Ward won would be a good idea. A tournament for each weight class

Boxing has 4 sanctioning bodies. If each sanctioning body just acted like a league or conference of it's own and then after each organization crowns a champion those 4 had a fight off until you had one left standing as undisputed then boxing could function like a sport again. That only makes too much sense then and would only stand to benefit the fighters and not promoters.
