Complete clown show. What the hell was the point of Tank and Ryan tweeting "done deal" not to mention Oscar De La Hoya saying he wanted to be the one to announce the fight.
At this point Tank and Ryan are going to have to leave their respective promoters if they're going to get this fight done.
LOL hit him with Volg Zangief's White Fang at the beginning of that gif and the smash after slipping the jab. Makes me want to play Victorious Boxers again lol
I really don't get it. The great fights are what helps the sport grow and even if somebody takes a loss it won't hurt their career. In a lot of cases it'll create interest in seeing how the fighter that lost bounces back. Instead they keep dudes in bubble wrap trying to milk as many low risk fights as possible then wondering why PPV died off. That's what the boxing game is right now. Put two fighters on a collision course and create interest in a fight that will never happen.
Promoters really don't want these type of fights to happen, unless the timing makes sense. They like to use potential "big" fights as a tool to promote their fighters upcoming fight in order for viewers to tune in. Eventually, they continue to let it marinate until one of the fighters loses.
I do hope that GB proves me wrong. A loss won’t hurt their guys career.
