Nope

I think you're missing the point. Hearn believed that AJ was going to win all those fights before entertaining a Wilder fight. There's a clear reason why promoters move the way they do.

You're also way off on Mayweather and Manny.

Mayweather and Manny were able to make a significant amount of money during that 6 year period, plus they made a large amount of money on their own individual fight. Their "lesser" name opponents you are referring to consisted of guys such as Mosley, Cotto, Canelo, Hatton, etc. Those are all money fights. It definitely made sense how it played out, despite it being to the detriment of the fans.
Pac/Mayweather supposedly did 4.6 million buys from what I can see. The next highest for Floyd during that stretch is 2.2 with Canelo and 1.5 with Cotto. My point is they probably could've done just as much if not more if they fought a couple years later and probably close to matching that on a rematch. The money generated from doing two fights against each other would've added up to more money than all the other fights combined they took against other opponents. It would take a good 6 or 7 other high profile fights to match the amount of money they'd have from fighting each other twice and those other fights would still be there after too.

If people are still falling for PBCs bullshyt at this point I dont know what to tell you.. there is no sense of urgency for them to ever give you the fights you want.. They're no better than any other promotional company. You gotta be fool to continue to defend them
Your hate is disgusting. You literally have all the writers and fighters saying this is standard practice and you come out and say this

There would not have been this hypothetical rematch.

Mayweather has a clear trend on how he managed his career.

If he did rematches solely based on money, he would have did the second Oscar fight. He would have fought Pac a second time. Hell, he probably would have figured out how finesse the fans and sell a second Hatton fight. That's not how he does business.

Honestly that one is the biggest surprise..jlc and maidana got rematches because ppl believed he didn't beat them like he should have the first time around. Oscar actually won on an official judges card but I think Floyd was like fukk this and him after the W.

That shyt was personal

I believe he does rematches based on his personal views of the fight, not the official scorecard.

Let's be honest, the Oscar fight wasn't really close despite the scorecards. Oscar had some success with the jab early in the fight but wasn't able to sustain it. Mayweather/Canelo was a Majority Decision and we both know that wasn't a close fight.

To turn down an Oscar fight is crazy though. That clearly illustrated that he does not do rematches based on money.

Floyd and Oscar were in negotiations to have a rematch in 08’ at a catchweight of 150. Oscar had that unimpressive showing against Stevie Forbes, and I believe was demanding too much of the purse for Floyd’s liking, so Floyd “retired”.

Oscar did better than I thought against Floyd, but still only won like 3-4 rounds I thought. Floyd seemed to be in first gear throughout the fight,
