At 19:40 of the showtime boxing podcast, one of the hosts sends a brief shot at Mannix.

"To that broadcaster who remains very publicly obsessed with Andrade versus Charlo happening, let me just say: we all see through the attempt to follow the Stephen A. Smith hot take blueprint. Nobody is buying what you're selling, this is not a good look. Please move on."

Earlier this month, IBF featherweight Kiko Martinez increased his merits to be at the top of the Spanish boxing history boxing.

After his resounding knockout victory in the sixth round over heavily favored Kid Galahad, he wants to take a long break so his body can rest.

"I am going to rest, I deserve it, I will go for about a month without touching a bag, I will only do something aerobic. It has been many years of slavery and work, all very demanding for me and my family. The body and mind have to rest," Martinez told Emilio Marquiegui.

In analyzing the fight, Martinez admits that he was hurt in the first round and had to recover as the fight played out.

"Yes, in the first round he caught me and hurt me, but I recovered thanks to the work and discipline of all these years of preparation. From the fourth round, I saw that I could win, I saw that I was hurting him and he was loosening up," Martinez said.

Everything changed at the end of the fifth round, when Martinez landed a big right hand that sent Galahad crashing to the mat and he got up on very unsteady legs. The round came to a close before Martinez could follow up.

Then at the very start of the sixth, Martinez landed another right hand that put Galahad down and out.

"They gave him that minute of recovery [between rounds], but if his corner allowed him to go out, then they thought he was ready to come back," Martinez said.

Martinez would now like to have a unification or go for revenge with Josh Warrington, who won a twelve round majority decision when they fought in 2017.

"I would like to unify two titles with WBO world champion Emanuel Navarrete of Mexico, but I would also like a rematch with the Englishman Josh Warrington," Martinez said.
