This esports boxing game looking like it's gonna be fire:wow:...Never seen more realistic movement and footwork in a boxing game. The way guys go limp when they get slept is crazy. And if they fall into the ropes they actually get tangled up for real. This could end up being special. And they already said they're gonna keep adding to the roster.

I know he has a fight scheduled already stanley, fukk a Mean Machine Ortiz should of hopped in their with Crawford not fight fukking Mean Machine. How much more development does he need?

.

Let's not try to use Ortiz as some kind of armor or diversion from the winner of Pac/Spence fighting Bud next. :francis:. You way too focused on that random ass fight for some reason....
Ortiz is still young. Let's see how he do against MM, then he can call out Bud again and Oscar can meet with Bud by himself after October and throw a bag at him if they really want smoke. Ennis look way better than Ortiz (to me) and it's in house yet Spence running to 154 after Manny to fight the corpse of Krillin or whoever and Thurman and Porter pretending like they never heard of him :mjlol:. It's normal boxing shyt. But in the case of Ortiz specifically he probably need 1 or 2 more fights depending how vulnerable he look against MM

Well this isn't even a hearn rumor. Even before the callum smith fight sources reported that talks fell apart with plant because haymon was trying to lock canelo down into a multi fight deal. And I don't doubt that for a second. If you have a chance to lock down the biggest star in boxing you gotta at least make that effort. Like I said I don't even blame him. But that being said, I still think he'll see the bigger picture and let this fight happen.

Also whenever you see people bringing up golovkin talks with canelo's camp I already know it's just posturing on canelo's side. Golovkin is always the guy they use to put pressure on the other team. They do it with damn near everybody. Even Danny Jacobs said once he heard rumors that canelo was about to walk away from negotiations and fight golovkin he called up hearn and signed the contract immediately. This is what canelo's team does. And we already know he's never fighting golovkin again. So whenever you see little g's name being thrown around it tells me there's just a few kinks left to work out. And plus I think canelo likes to troll golovkin and give him hope for another payday :lolbron:

And with canelo posting that gym pic the other day and plant posting right after. It tells me talks are prolly very advanced. especially if they're both already in training. I just can't see this fight not happening in September.
The fight didn't happen last December because of the timetable, Plant wasn't gonna fight him on short notice, every time a Canelo fight talk comes up he talks about needing a full camp

When plant said he needed more time that was earlier in the year. But for the December fight he actually said he was ready to go but negotiations fell through. He even said the fight most likely fell apart because PBC prolly didn't feel there was enough time to promote the ppv. But he said he was ready and in shape. That's when other sources came out saying Al was trying to sign canelo to a multi fight deal and canelo walked away and made the smith fight instead.

Caleb Plant Hoped To Face Canelo in December - But Deal Didn’t Work Out

"Hopefully, this interview can clear up some confusion on me turning it down or saying I’m not ready. That definitely is not the situation. When I came off my fight in February and I had been in a long camp I felt like it would be better to get the rest and not rush into anything. But this (possible December fight) was not a situation like this. I’ve been resting through the quarantine but I have been working. I would have been ready (for Dec. 19).”

Whatever Al and Canelo couldn’t figure out, that has nothing to do with me. It’s easy to make a fight with me, but I also know there’s a lot that goes into making a big pay-per-view fight like that and if they felt they didn’t have the time to put that show together and all the variables that go with it, like Spence and Garcia fighting on Dec. 5, I don’t know about all that.”

Canelo Alvarez, Callum Smith and DAZN - The Ring

"After Canelo’s lawsuit was settled, Al Haymon entered the sweepstakes, offering Canelo a three-fight deal for $75 million. The first fight would have been against Caleb Plant. One of the next two opponents would have been Jermall Charlo at a 166-pound catchweight. Alvarez said he’d fight Plant for $25 million but didn’t want to commit to three fights at those numbers.

Then, on November 17, Canelo tweeted that his next fight would be against Callum Smith on December 19"

My complaint isn't Canelo having to fight someone.. My complaint is no other good fights between 160 and 175 are getting made unless Canelo is involved. There is a huge amount of good fights we don't get to see because all these fighters only chasing after 1 guy.. I believe I clearly explained that...We all wanna see the best fight but the problem is yall only demand this from one nikka between 160 and 175 and the people you claiming to be the best are just the "perceived" best not really the best, because they haven't dont anything to separate themselves from anyone else in their division.. They not even fighting or beating Canelo leftovers.. If Canelo is trying to be undisputed and go after Ligbt Heavyweight then signing a 3 fight deal with PBC is a pointless waste of time.. Benevidez hasn't even proven he can make weight.. Charlo talking about Canelo has to come down to a catchweight.. These are nothing more than intriguing fights.. they aren't bad for his legacy or great.. at least Liam Liam and Saunders were undefeated champions

I hope you’ve been complaining about this with prior draws. The top draws in boxing have always dictated how other fighters move,

I feel you bruh, like you said I don’t think we disagree much. They all should be fighting one another, I just disagree with the premise that Canelo should have the luxury or the pass to choose not to fight those guys because he don’t want to.

But I think you’re leaving out the fact fighters (including Canelo) were ducking Charlo and Andrade. Plant didn’t fight Benavidez bc he kept fukking up and losing the belt. GGG is refusing to fight a live body and will not ever fight Jermall. Canelo has maneuvered around damn near all the top guys who are in their prime too.

When you leave those facts out you don’t provide context to WHY these “160-175 guys are not fighting”. Charlo WAS fighting top level guys at 154, let’s not forget that. Caleb hasn’t fought many bc of the promoter politics. Andrade was just on DAZN with GGG, BJS and Canelo and the fights didn’t happen bc none of them wanted smoke. Can’t give dude a pass when he ducking, just like I won’t give Charlo a pass if he duck Andrade again and fights another bum while he waits for the Canelo fight.

But I’ll leave it alone, we not at odds … respect to you.

I got my timeline mixed up from when Caleb turned down Canelo for May 2020

I want to see the best fight the best. That’s chasing legacy. Nobody said 8 guys. That’s 3 fighters. All undefeated, so is that bad for his legacy? I think all of them should fight at least once and I don’t care how that comes about, but why are you as a fan complaining about a fighter having to fight someone? If you believe he’s the best it should be easy money.

The reality is his fans think that’s too difficult a task for him and they don’t want to see him lose. He don’t have to fight anybody though that’s the beauty of Boxing. The fans will help you duck by saying “why he have to fight all these other champions? Nobody knows this guy, he’s a bum, he’s trash”.

All while he fights unknown bums (Yildrim) and other paper champions like Liam Liam and Billy Hoe who nobody cares about. Waits for the opportunity to snatch a belt without fighting the good fighters for it (like he did Andrade and Benavidez). And ducking mandatories by becoming franchise bc he scared to fight a real threat (Charlo). But if y’all cool with that, I’m cool wit it.

Like @Dallas' 4 Eva said, imma just keep watching the divisions where nikkas really fight. Charlo vs Castano this week, Fulton vs Figueroa coming up… I’m good either way. I just want good fights but y’all want to play promoter online.

Nah we at odds because he don’t want his favorite fighter as of right now to lose. That goofy was a pactard

Are you missing the point I'm trying to make? What part don't you understand?

What don't you understand?
Victor Ortiz ain't no priority right now, Bud literally said that already. So why bring it up, Ortiz already got plans and is obviously still developing. If he try to force a mandatory in the future that's something else and a bridge crossed when due
Bud need to concentrate on his formality fight to satisfy his contract for now. Winner of Spence/Manny will have two whole months to work with Haymon to have some kind of deal ready the moment Arum is out the picture. By late Oct they will have days if not weeks to work with Bud directly to iron out a fight. No excuses. Nobody give a fukk about Victor Ortiz with that on the table. I don't even see any huge public demand for that fight right now.
