Chava, who is well connected to Canelo, said PBC is willing to do a 1 fight deal, said it before and I'll say it again, stop listening to Eddie Hearn's public "negotiations". You nikkas never learn.

Well this isn't even a hearn rumor. Even before the callum smith fight sources reported that talks fell apart with plant because haymon was trying to lock canelo down into a multi fight deal. And I don't doubt that for a second. If you have a chance to lock down the biggest star in boxing you gotta at least make that effort. Like I said I don't even blame him. But that being said, I still think he'll see the bigger picture and let this fight happen.

Also whenever you see people bringing up golovkin talks with canelo's camp I already know it's just posturing on canelo's side. Golovkin is always the guy they use to put pressure on the other team. They do it with damn near everybody. Even Danny Jacobs said once he heard rumors that canelo was about to walk away from negotiations and fight golovkin he called up hearn and signed the contract immediately. This is what canelo's team does. And we already know he's never fighting golovkin again. So whenever you see little g's name being thrown around it tells me there's just a few kinks left to work out. And plus I think canelo likes to troll golovkin and give him hope for another payday


And with canelo posting that gym pic the other day and plant posting right after. It tells me talks are prolly very advanced. especially if they're both already in training. I just can't see this fight not happening in September.

I wouldn't be mad at him fighting Beterbiev or Bivol either bc that's still the best fighting the best. But it's time we get the fights we been calling for. It's a shame these dudes are all in the same divisions, in the same era and we have to treat them like fantasy fights. We never get the shyt we want to see when we want them if ever.

I mean we already got it at 140, we about to get it at 154, 115 is a lit division, so is 122. If people paid attention to more than heavyweight, 160, 147, and wherever Canelo is fighting people won't be so disappointed with boxing all the time.

can't cosign this enough...ive been shytting 147 for damn 6-7 years..and ive let my opinion on canelo fights be known over the years

the best fights in boxing are sometimes where you dont least expected or pay attention to (apochi vs glanton on pbc on fox)..and if you do expect it and it comes to pass its a plus (why choc-estrada 2 is the FOTY frontrunner)

Well they did give the charlos showcase cards on fox and they shyt the bed. I guess thats why theyre not fighting on the same cards anymore. Although the ppv with both of them was good..

Those Fox cards were a good look and should have kept being a thing cuz it was giving them lots of exposure. At one time 154 was the glamour division for free Fox fights because upsets and good ass fights kept happening every time they put out a card.
