These fights never really sell out.....With Mayweather he does better on the PPV than he does at the box office. I mean, he charges so much so he always has some of the highest grossing gates but they always have to give many of these tix away as comps. He doesn't have particularly exciting fights so the average person is really trying to pay 300, 600, 1000, 1200 and 1500 for seats. They'll def order the ppv or go to Vegas and pay for closed circuit viewing. I remember when he fought Ortiz the MGM grand had a deal where you rent a room for the night and get two tix to the fight.

the fact is no one cares about tickets and seating when the PPV numbers are good. you know all the stuff about boxing promoters being casino packagers and not actual promoters, etc. same thing applies here. and the fact is, mayweather vs anyone, even if its a flop compared to expected numbers, is still the best ppv fighter in the sport.

i just took a look at ticketmaster, @ 1,500 dollar tickets and they arent even the best ones. no wonder its not sold out, anyone in their right mind isn't gonna pay that unless you got money to burn.

Guerrero's people telling Nate Jones that he doesn't know shyt about boxing and that he's never laced a pair of gloves in his life....well...umm.....hmmm. He is a former golden glove champion and Olympian. It's almost comical to think that they are borderline delirious going into May 4th.
