It's still your career. If you have the funds to do it, make it happen and then pressure your promoter to do the same. Sometimes you gotta take the initiative. If you can show the difference your self promotion does for your fight viewership, then they might see the potential in it. If not, keep doing what you doing until the contract is up or buy yourself out and do everything yourself.
It's 2019, no boxer with any decent clout should be complaining about lack of promotion. They can do it themselves. Boxers just be lazy an entitled.
