Matchroom moving their Nov 17th show to Kansas to get a sellout for a local ticket seller.

Matchroom USA is slowly turning into Bellator. At least the local ticket seller seems to be a legit prospect. Former Olympian, bronze medalist Nico Hernandez is the local draw for them in Kansas.

My comment was totally about Thurman bro lol. But I do believe Mikey has a decent shot to beat Spence. It's a matter of can he get EJ's respect which I think he can. I think he does because of the Broner fight. You might be thinking WTF does that have to do with him lol. I never thought a naturally smaller fighter would beat AB because he would walk them down & walk through them. AB had a lot of respect for Mikey's power which tells me Mikey can crack at a high level because AB's gotta great chin. When AB fought Vargas it confirmed it for me because he didn't respect his punching power as much as Mikey's.

nikkas can't deny the efficiency of Mikey's one two. He clapped up Lipinets all night and pretty much tamed Broner with it. Easter tough as fukk and got dropped and pieced up too. Spence definitely can't sleep on that offense. Yeah he took shots from Brook, but I think Mikey is a better puncher p4p and will be looking to connect hard shots, not just land for the sake of landing like Kell was.

Vargas was throwing everything but the kitchen sink at Broner only for dude to keep coming at him like the Terminator and rock his ass repeatedly in the 2nd half.

I still think Thurman is all wrong for Spence if he's 100%. The punching on the move and angles is all wrong for a guy that comes straight at you without moving his head. nikkas will say but but body punching, but nobody likes it to the body and Thurman throws to the body pretty good himself.

I know they're the 2nd biggest MMA promotion in the States now but boxing hasn't got a UFC like dominant force either, it's more spread out

I dont see Mikey winning at all even if he has a perfect fight. he gets props from me for attempting to be great but he gonna catch a career changing type of beating imo.

This is what Bellator does. They rely on local ticket sellers to sell out arenas. In fact, Bellator used to book this same arena 2-3 times a year. Also @patscorpio or @aceboon probably knows about this more than I do, but with casino shows, they're basically paid shows right? I know Bellator used to run casinos a lot in the early days cause the casinos would pay promoters to run the arena, so they can attract people to the casino. I wonder if Eddie is doing the same thing.

Outside of Regis, Zereaux is in his 5th fight, JohnBoy in his 2nd, Kolev is making his debut. They are all pretty much unknown & raw. JohnBoy was a amateur city champion for a long time in NO. Zereaux made it to #4 in the nation in the amateurs.

On point with everything. Mikey's an accurate puncher & if EJ goes in not moving his head trying to steamroll dude he could get clipped. Totally agree with you on Thurman too & his underrated body punching. At some point he's gonna land something big on EJ & I'm not sure he can take the same kind of shots Porter & Garcia ate
