Agree and disagree. You are right in that top 160 fighters can call out GGG and GGG should be held accountable for facing them (although a fight on short notice and short money is unreasonable).
Where I have no problem with is if GGG wants to wait until September and cash that Canelo check. He deserves a rematch, Canelo is a top fighter, and it is a business so we cant hate on a guy going for a fight that makes him $10's of millions more than anyone else.
Breadman's point is legit though that cats cant use GGG and Canelo as their meal ticket and wait for those fights without fighting each other without criticism. GGG was certainly called out here for doing that and that was still with him fighting the top guys at 160, but it wasnt popping the way it was now. BJS was ducking heavy at the time and Eubank's fight was nearly made, but he ducked.
If GGG tries and unsuccessfully makes a Canelo fight for September and he doesn't take on a top guy, he should be criticized, but right now GGG is doing things right, just faced Jacob's, then Canelo, tried to get a Canelo rematch and the fight was cancelled last minute and not his fault, now likely going for Canelo again. Really hard to argue with his career decisions right now IMO.
Jacob's, Charlo, BJS, Andrade, and Dereveychenko all are worthy of a GGG fight, but if they do score a fight only one man can get it, that doesn't stop them from going after each other as well.
