Man that shyt was GOAT tier.

To the people saying they don't get his logic...he literally did exactly what he told Walt to do in "Granite State", even with the same outcome he said would happen.

Saul, talking to Walt: Stay. Face the music. Hey, I mean, how much time have you got left? You walk in with your head held high, you'll be the John Dillinger of Metropolitan Detention Center....
Death or jail was the only end for a guy like Saul. People talking about he should've took the 7....and then what, he works at Costco? :mjlol:

He would regret that choice as soon as he got out.

Jimmy is a John Milton "better to reign in hell than serve in heaven" sort of guy. He'd rather be jailed as Saul than free as Gene.

Fred.

the entire Gene timeline since season 1 was preparing us for him breaking. he was tired of running from the truth. the whole series has been about Jimmy McGill putting on masks to fight his humanity. in the end it finally came off.

79 years:comeon:

he didn't take the fall for Kim. she already confessed to the Howard thing. He owned up to being a scumbag and giving his conscious peace, he lured her there so she could see it.
Right?

I'm legit shocked at how many people seem to think that he got himself all those extra years because of Kim.

Saul went out like a bytch and he didn’t have to.

Mans got greedy and let an old lady take his ass down.

Dude defeated Chuck, HHM, Howard, Sandpiper and countless others. If he truly made it out with Walter then he should’ve had his “exit America forever” plan laid out.

I thought part of the reason he snitched on himself was ego. He wanted the court to know he was "indispensable" to a major drug lord and not just some scumbag lawyer that got kidnapped and deebo'd into breaking bad
That's a Walt move. Saul was perfectly fine taking the plea until he decided to take the heat off Kim.

This episode had layers

If there's any one thing you can point to for why he did it, it's because of his guilt over what he did to his brother. People who watched season 4 know that shyt destroyed him but he kept it buried inside. The flashbacks in this episode all led back to his brother and the HG Wells book
