Ghat dayum that was a fantastically written episode, this show just hitting on all cylinders right now.

That Viv and Vy situation hits home because its so relatable to many families...even the ones who strong be needing a backbone even if they don't say so. And I like how this is starting to rub off on Will and Carlton a little bit....I wouldn't be surprised that this is the leaf that gets their relationship moving forward in the right direction that we know OG will and carlton got to, being brothers.

Hilary need to learn how to read contracts, prolly gonna get legally sued to hell and back before the season ends. I don't think I like where Geofrey is planning to go, I understand his ideas on the situation but we don't know what type of dude Lou is...and if we see him we'll prolly see why Phil acts that way.

:mjlol:THEY WERE PRETTY OVERT ABOUT
THAT BEING THE CASE IN
THIS EPISODE.

AUNT SAID THEY WERE
THE BROTHERS THEY
ALWAYS ASKED FOR...

THEY SQUASHED THE SISTER BEEF...

EVEN MADE HIM ACCEPT
THE FACT LISA IS HIS bytch.

Yea. Ppl saying he is getting will smith's mannerisms n stuff down is actually not a plus to me. He is acting more like him but it doesn't fit dude at all. He's not that charismatic at all
He's doing well to me.. nobody is as charismatic as Will. I think he's doing alright

I mean Will is going to be a bit more mature and somewhat grounded in this since this is a dramatic rebrand (Especially given the seriousness from what could’ve transpired in Philly, if Unc did not get involved). Could they have played up the playboy image some, perhaps. But him being overly goofy and dropping pick up lines for every cutie he see, getting into clubs, traveling everywhere, getting stripping gigs, all while underage is more in line with sitcom tropes/magic.

This version of Will will not be in lockstep with his 90’s counterpart when it comes to dating/smashing a who’s who list of 90’s dimes of that era (90’s version roster was virtually immaculate).

I didn’t necessarily view this as like a filler episode. There was some tension between Viv and Vy in the original version. Albeit in the sitcom, Vy seems to take issue with Will becoming lazy and spoiled living with the Banks (Not feeling like Viv is trying show her up or erasing her from Will’s life). Will wants to know more about his pops or questioning what was told to him in the past is an interesting take as well.

I mean, no one looks good compared to Will Smith. But this actor is doing great imo, especially when you compare him to actors on other teen dramas, which this basically is.

shyt is great. :wow:

Geoffrey gettin' ready to resign/Top Boy coming back with season four isn't a coincidence either. fukk around and go from potential DA to potentially DOA.

But on the real: While I'm glad that the sisters could resolve their issues, that was beyond inappropriate and completely disrespectful to will. In Viv's defense, she tried to hold it together, but we've all had someone tap dance on that one last nerve DESPITE the leeway you've clearly been giving them.

Conversely, yes, Vi was bitter but she had some legitimate gripes. Being the caretaker for an elderly person losing their faculties--all while being a single mother at that--is an immense task. Money helps, but it doesn't fix the emotional trauma, physical strain, nor time that was lost.

Have a highly respected Juris Doctor/practicing lawyer as your father and not ask him to look over your contract, bruhettes. And I understand that she was "trying to find her way," but you living rent free in the pool house =/= you asking your father to apply his expertise and/or point you in the right direction.

"Naw. Can't take your advice on interviewing/Business attire. I'm ready to do this on my own, pops.:jawalrus:" :gucci:
