yes they have a good relationship, and have done some business, but they’re not in business like you’re implying. URL and qotr are in business and have a partnership. There’s a big difference.

We are also talking about ARP. You don’t think he lowkey competes with KOTD, despite having a good rapport? His league is superior to KOTD(even though they’re in different lanes), and I’m quite sure he’s well aware of it. He doesn’t need to come up under kotd.

also, it’s pretty obvious these streaming deals are much different. Yeah twitch is a bigger brand, but caffeine appears to be the better brand for battle rap. You see the url advertised everywhere.

he’s not getting booked by the url or RBE, the two biggest leagues in battle rap.

He rarely shoots for smaller leagues. That geechi battle is probably an exception for obvious reasons

RBE’s VODs were still going through KOTD at the top of the year (not sure about their latest event) so I think their relationship is pretty significant and the from what I remember, there were RBE regulars that were approached for the Grand Prix east coast bracket as well. They’re obviously in competition to a degree but I think they acknowledged a while ago that they need each other because URL has lapped them three times over.

Caffeine is definitely better for battle rap because URL’s obligations isn’t tied up in an arbitrary amount of hours per month like it is for being a Twitch partner which is why you don’t have Smack and Beasley streaming themselves playing Tekken just to hit their quota
