You seemed to equate being unable to go off top to being able to write.
This isn't a new ep, it's a clip from an older episode. He stopped trying to do the freestyling around the room thing in recent eps. Even if rappers are into stuff like this, they may not want to do it in front of the camera. Have you ever been forced to participate in a team building exercise at work?

If you're a rapper you should be able to go off top. Every nikka I know that's intelligent or creative can freestyle and these just be regular, everyday dudes.
It would be interesting to see people scores on rematches, the ones I seen
Clips 2-0 (yeah roc did good in the 2nd one but clips still won in my opinion)
Roc 1-1 shine ( shine clearly won the 1st and the 2nd battle was awful and I gave it to roc)
Rex 2-0 math ( the 1st battle math 3rd was the best round of the battle but his other rounds were ass so I gave it to Rex. 2nd one Rex won clearly)

Of course but usually around people they know or at least don't care if they fuk up around. I can see not wanting to freestyle at the drop of a dime when who knows how many people are gonna see it and it's gonna be there forever.
