Who do you consider “trap battles?” Guys that typically get wins/debatable because their opponents aren’t scared of them and come with poor prep? It always ends up backfiring thinking that they can beat these guys with weak material.

Interesting. I would say Nitty did bring it, not sure if I would say Verb did. Verb is just Verb and raps that way pretty much for everyone now. It wasn’t like he went above and beyond. The funny thing is DNA doesn’t really have a lot of recent solo battles. He had Bill Collector, I thought Bill wasn’t that good. He had Danny Myers, I thought both of them were awful. Twork didn’t even write and second or third like you said. I don’t know. I feel DNA still could count in this, if Ave counts in this, because I can say the same amount of people have put up some of their better performances against him (Ill Will, T-Top, Nitty, O-Red, Geechi).
Only Math and Arsonal really slacked off the top of my head. And Math was more the stumbles than material.
